The bell rang, its sharp chime reverberating through the school halls and signalling the arrival of one of the most anticipated moments of the day—recess. Students poured out of their classrooms, a mix of laughter and chatter filling the air. Some hung out in large groups, while others walked in pairs, sharing in quieter conversations.

As for me, I strolled down the hall with a broad, genuine smile lighting up my face. I couldn’t help but feel a bubbling excitement that made my heart race.

Kusuo asked me to eat lunch together with his friends. Ever since the first time I hung out with them, I can't shake the feeling of excitement whenever I think about them. It's like I've discovered a new part of myself, and I'm eager to keep hanging out with this amazing group. I savoured the realization of how fulfilling it was to be surrounded by friends who truly mattered to me.

I think about what will happen once I sit down at the table. It must be surrounded by laughter, shared stories, with delicious food. I felt a surge of energy and joy that I hadn't experienced in a long time; maybe I never have experienced that at all.

Lost in my thoughts, I was suddenly pulled back to reality by a soft tap on my shoulder.

“Y/n, right?” a familiar female voice floated to my ears, warm and soothing like a gentle lullaby. Oh, how I had missed hearing her voice.

I turned around swiftly, my heart racing, and was greeted by her angelic visage. Her face was framed by long, flowing hair that cascaded down her shoulders in waves of vibrant blue. The colour was striking and seemed to shimmer in the light, enhancing the ethereal quality of her presence. Her eyes sparkled with gentle kindness, reflecting a depth of warmth and compassion that was impossible to ignore.

Panic bubbled up inside of me.
'I could just faint any second right now- no, don't embarrass yourself!-' I clenched my fists tightly, trying to ground myself in the present and steady my racing heart.

"y-yes?"

'WHY DID I STUTTER??!?-'

"Oh, good, it's you! I'm trying to find you everywhere!" She stepped closer, her delicate fingers reaching out to intertwine with mine. I couldn’t help but admire the way our fingers fit together perfectly.

"let's eat lunch together!" she said brightly, her excitement infectious, before my mind went on autopilot.

"Saiki! Where is y/n?" Kaido called out, his voice muffled by the mouthful of food he was devouring.

"Excuse me for a minute." Kusuo excuses himself and makes his way to the male's toilet.

'Where is that maggot... Don't tell me they forgot. They have a memory of a goldfish...' Kusuo sighs and gets inside one of the stalls.

He crossed his eyes, and the sight was revealed. Y/n and blue-haired girl-

At that moment, an overwhelming wave of frustration washed over Kusuo, compelling him to consider the drastic action of banging his head against the wall. The thought flickered in his mind like a wild spark, hinting at a release for the pent-up irritation that had been building inside him.
