Prologue.

Why must it be so hard for me to be happy why must life take everything from me leaving me with nothing but sorrow and pain this hate I feel because there is nothing left for me here but Everytime I try to leave try to live they find me being who I am sucks and it's Time I get to live my own life it's time to break free.
Marcus.
I saw them standing over there friends laughing enjoying life all I could think is *why can't I have that simple life* but then I know the answer to that question I'm important to them I'm not allowed to live like they do I can't be free from them no matter how far I run or what I say they will never give me freedom "Lord Marcus" the driver pulled me out of my day dream "we have arrived" we pulled up to the council building I've come here dreading there answer to my request but I'm hoping they'll say yes besides it's not anything to complicated for them to understand.
I walked into the halls of the building it's flawless as always beautiful people as everywhere one thing about vampires we never create flawed creatures I chuckled to myself and thought *how shallow we are* see I look like a normal 18 year old boy but in actuality I'm 2000 years old I'm one of the few oldest beings walking this planet I'm a vampire and from what I said before we do not create flawed creatures so I'm perfect.
I'm mixed race fit body not to much muscle and grey eyes I have long dreads and a beautiful face I'm 6'3 oh and I'm kinda the king of my species I didn't have any say in the matter even when I refused I was still told I had no choice so here I am at the council building asking for some time off to just live like a normal human ironic isn't it a monster asking to be normal it's almost laughable but anyways here I go fingers crossed.
I walk in to the room and saw my brother and sister sitting in there seats on the council my little sister smiles at me and my older brother just glares me and him don't see eye to eye but he still love's me anyways "so we have heard your request and it has been granted under certain conditions" I was in shock I've asked them for this for at least 200 years this is the first time they've said yes I would smile but I'm afraid that would change there minds "u will be allowed to live as a 17 year old teen for 3 years with that said u will have anything u may need and we will provide u with a home in any country of your choosing also u will have guards with u at all times and lastly your sister shall be acopannying u on this break u have asked for" I just bowed my head and thank them.
I was on my way back to my car when Ravon and Lauren[sister and brother] walked over to me "so when do we leave big brother" she was smiling ear to ear Rovan wasn't happy "I don't get what u see in that world there is nothing there for u but I want to go I will never understand u brother" he voiced his displeasure I just hugged him he doesn't like public displays of affection so I do it just to annoy him "so little sister what strings did u have to pull to get your way" she just blushed "well let's just say I will be owing people favors for awhile" I just shook my head and kissed her good bye I finally get to live a little after so may years of solitude I'll go see what being normal feels like for at least a little bit.
