When Odette Desmarais' cover is blown at her favorite wizarding school she has to choose what is important, her secret or her life. She is bound by a curse inflicted upon her bloodline due to the actions of her ancestors. Transferring over to Hogwarts seemed like the only option to protect herself. She thought that everything would be fine until she encountered Regulus Black, the boy she was told to stay away from. Nothing ever goes right when you're told not to do something, does it?

But despite the warnings and the risks, Odette finds herself drawn to him. As she navigates the treacherous waters of Hogwarts and its politics, she must also confront her own feelings and the curse that binds her. Will she choose safety or love? Only time will tell.
