Seungmin's pov:

"You're just on time." Irene remarked, pleased. We had agreed to meet up at a park not far from Felix's house. Irene said that she found some more people who might be interested in helping us, and she wanted us to meet them to decide if we wanted them to work with us.

Behind her I saw two faces I recognized. Hyunjin and Jeongin. They both looked quite confused. It was obvious that Irene hadn't briefed them. I wondered if taking them to a park at past midnight was really the best way to get them to help us, but I didn't comment. Hoshi was also there, leaning against a tree because he wants to appear emo. He probably thinks it's cool and will help him get a girlfriend, but I don't think it will.

"So, now that we're all here," Hoshi started, "Felix's parents are basically-" Irene smacked him upside the head.

"What are you doing? We just brought them here. We can't tell them everything until we know they'll be helping us." Irene scolded. Hoshi rolled his eyes at her, going back to his emo tree.

"I'm sorry about his immaturity. Apparently he's supposed to be older than us, but his brain is surely smaller." Irene said, going back to Hyunjin and Jeongin. "Anyways, I'm assuming you already know Seungmin. This is Hoshi. He's quite dumb, but he has resources that we can take advantage of."

"Wow, how nice of you." Hoshi muttered. I distantly thought that Hoshi and Irene would make a good couple.

"We have no idea what you're going to make us do, but if it's about Felix, then we want to help!" Jeongin said, followed by Hyunjin nodding vigorously.

"Well, if you guys agree, I suppose we can start telling you everything. But first, I'd like to ask, what exactly does Felix tell you guys?" Irene asked.

"Tell us? I mean... he often asks us to bully Minho with him, and then he apologizes a million times after. I don't get it, though, because he and Minho used to be best friends." Hyunjin said.

"He also often shows up to school with bruises, but he never explains them." Jeongin added, "And I once saw him reading some official looking papers, but he hid them from me when he saw me looking, and didn't answer when I asked him what they were."

Irene and Hoshi exchanged a look. "I see," Irene said, "I suppose we could start briefing you now. So, basically, Felix's parents are part of... a sort of unlawful organization."

"Like the mafia?" Jeongin asked. He looked like a little kid, and I wondered whether it really was the best idea to tell him this. Did he even know what a gun was? I doubted it. He seemed so young and innocent.

"Umm.. kinda, I guess. They're actually a part of AYCC, also known as Accustom Your Child Club. The founder had originally wanted to make it a club for people who came to Korea from different countries so that they could help their children become accustomed to Korea. In Felix's case, he came from Australia. Before, the club would be giving his parents guidance on how to help him handle the change. But now, things are different. It's as if they made the A stand for Abuse instead of Accustom. Currently, all the members are either drunkards, smokers, drug addicts, sex addicts, pedophiles, or all of the above. And none of them love their children. Felix's parents are among them.

"Here's our plan: find some evidence to incriminate them and shut down the club completely. They would go to prison along with everyone else in the club, and Felix would be free from the chains they had tied around him. Judging by what Jeongin said about papers with Felix, I think it's safe to assume that Felix has something with him. So, you guys in?"

Jeongin and Hyunjin just stood there, stunned, as they absorbed everything Irene had just said. It took a couple seconds, but soon they were both nodding. Hoshi smiled, his barely visible eyes completely disappearing.

"That's good. Let's all exchange numbers, and if any of you guys finds anything, text us." Hoshi said.

Soon we had all exchanged numbers, and we went our different ways. As I walked through the empty streets, I got this odd(inary) feeling, as if I was being watched and followed. But when I turned around, I saw nothing. Probably just the wind.

Or maybe I'm paranoid. It could be anything.

*********

I feel terrible for not updating this story in so long. I don't really have an excuse for that except that I was extremely lazy and just couldn't make myself write. But it's okay.

On the bright side, I started writing my second book on wattpad, called Social Path. I only have one chapter done so far, but I'll most probably publish the second tomorrow.

Have ya'll listened to "why?" It's such a good song. I've been replaying it over and over ever since it was released.

Do you guys think the plan is gonna work? Will Felix become a sunshine or will he stay the way he is? I'd love to know what you think.
