Chapter 10: Stalking

Seungmin's pov: 

I quietly opened the door to Jisung's room, making sure that he was fast asleep before closing it again, going back to my own room, and double-locking my door. I powered my computer and started working. When I want to find out more information about someone, I use a certain method to stalk them while going unnoticed. I'll name the steps while telling you how I went about them. In case you'd like to try it.

Step one: find their social media accounts. You're most likely to find them on Instagram or Facebook, but Snapchat and TikTok are good competitors. Simply search their name, and if that doesn't yield any results, search for any accounts with nicknames that they go by. If their account is public, good, you're lucky. Just don't follow them or like any posts. If it's private, make a fake account with a fake name and get them to trust you so you can see their posts. 

I  found Felix's account on Instagram, and his mom's account on Facebook. Luckily, both of them were public accounts and I could see their posts. Felix only had two posts, one of them a brownie recipe and the other a picture of the street at night which, according to the caption, he took from his bedroom window. Good enough for me to work with. His mother, on the other hand, had a whopping 143 posts. I went through them, and after looking at them, I started to understand why Felix acted the way he did. Nearly all of them were either saying things like "People with anxiety are just whores who want attention." Or "My son is such a disgrace. He's a fag." Basically either saying that people with mental health issues are dumb, or bringing Felix down for every little thing. Even though I was getting angrier with every post, I still learned many things, like: one, Felix's mother was quite abusive. Two, Felix was gay. Three, His father beats him up often. 

Step two: Find out where they live using the pictures on their social media accounts as reference. This may take some work, but it's easy if you live near them and recognize the places in their pictures.

I found out that Felix lived only a few blocks away, and after some research I found his exact house all thanks to that picture he posted, in which the convenience store which I frequent was clear.

And that was how I got the address of Lee Felix. I shut my computer and went to sleep. I would continue my plan later.

Yes, I do use this method. It's quite helpful when you want to stalk your teachers. I have my English teacher's address now. And she still doesn't know. 

I'm thinking of starting another book. I already have the plot sort of figured out, so I think I can juggle it while continuing this one.

I started rereading Percy Jackson for nth time. It's an amazing book series, I would recommend it to anyone. 

And am I the only one who cries whenever I listen to little star?
