I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
I flew me to places
I'd never been

Akaal's pov

Sitting in my office, I rested my feet on the large glass table before me, comfortably swiveling in my chair.

On my laptop screen, a slideshow of her pictures played, filling the room with memories.

Today, I called her and asked to help me out to go and pick up an interview dress and she said yes.

It's been a month since we met.

I don't disturb her everyday, but I do keep an eye on her everyday. From far away.

I like to see her.

My day starts with her by her seeing her theough balcony and ends at night when she walks a little in the park infront of her house and then plays with little dogs.

I imagine how peaceful my life would be if we both are married.

How beautiful things would be.

Just the feeling of her waking up in my arms every morning, makes me smile like a baby.

My phone rings.

"Hello ji" I say with excitement.

"Hi Akaal! I-"

"I was going to go out and close the door of the house only, I'll be in the mall in 10 mins."

"Arey listen to me Akaal!"

"Kya hua?"

"I am so sorry yaar I wont be able to come!"

When she mentioned she wouldn't be able to come, a surge of strange sensations coursed through my body, mingling with feelings of anger, causing me to clench my fist tightly.

My anger was so intense that as I clenched my fist, the glass of water I was holding shattered, causing my hand to start bleeding from the sharp fragments.

"Why Noor? Is everything okay?" I calm myself down and ask her.

"Yeah I had to go and meet the client and get the details of this project immediately yaar!"

My fist tightened more dropping down more blood.

"Oh, but you said you were free. I mean before, you said that you had finished the work?"

"Yeah, the client changed their requirements few minutes ago, I will have to catch up."

"Oh-"

"Hey, I gotta go-byee!!"

And with that, she hanged up.

"Aaghhhhhh!" I threw away the remaining glass in my hand on the floor.

With the same bleeding hand, I loosened up my tie and opened the first two buttons of my shirt.

Why Noor! Why!

But isme apki kya galti.

I could have disturbed you everyday, but nahi, I don't be like that and call you sometimes to meet.

Aur jab sala milne ka vaqt aya, ye sab?!

I was about to bang my table with anger when my phone rang again.
