He wore a mask
Hiding his true intentions
But his touch
Left me craving more

Patiala, Punjab, India

Present.

Akaal's pov

"Papa" Junnu said as she was playing with her barbie doll and her seat belt sitting on the passenger seat of the car.

"Hanji putt?"

"Mumma angry angry from Junnu?"

"Hain?? No Jaana, why would mumma be angry from my love?" I said instantly.

"Why she angry when I say punch in face?"

"Oh nahi gudiya. Mumma is angry at papa. Not Junnu!"

"Oh theek theek. Ghar jaake daant khana."

I give her a side eye and she laughs so much.

Seeing her laugh, a smile comes on my face as well.

My daughter.

Mine and Noor's daughter.

The sign of our love.

I park the car outside her kindergarten.

I open the door of the car for her and my little baby jumps out.

"Aye mera shona putt." I say and pick her up in my arms and hold her school bag in another hand.

(Oh my beautiful baby)

"Papa, Ajooni punch or no?"

I chuckled at her question.

"Umm, mumma se daant padwani hai mujhe?"

"Jeshh"

(Yess)

I laugh again.

I kiss on her cheek and say, "if someone says anything, complaint to mam. And if mam doesn't do anything, papa dekh lenge."

I go inside the school and see a lot of little kids running here and there.

What if Ajooni falls down and hurts herself while running?

"Junnu?"

"Jeshh!"

"Don't run okay?"

"Noi"

"Junnu!!"

"Noi!!"

"Junnu!" This time my tone was dominating.

It was dominating naturally, I didn't do it intentionally but I saw her face was turning like she is about to cry.

Oh fuck fuck.

I instantly hugged her.

"Oye nahi!! Bacha mera! Nahi kake! Tu taan mera sher putt ain! Ronde nhi! Papa sorry! Junnu nahi!! See first day of school! So many kids are here!"

I hug her tightly.

"Akku bad. Junnu sad. Akku very very bad!"

Offo. Mera bacha naraz ho gya.

I put my hand in the pocket of my jacket and take out a chocolate.

"Junnu Choco laaatey khaega???"

It's a Junnu thing to call chocolate as Choco Laatey. Can't help, she learnt it from her mother.

I had brought this chocolate so that she doesn't cry while going to school but nevermind, I can't let my baby be angry from me.

She turns around and a huge smile forms on her face the moment she sees chocolate.
