Akaal's pov

"Ailo Papa!"

"Hi baby"

I was coming back from work and thought to call Noor to ask about her health but instead of Noor, Junnu picked it up.

My little girl has this cute habit.

Whenever she sees the screen when someone calls, and it's my photo, instead of giving phone to Noor, she herself picks it up.

"Hor fer? Mera putt ki karda si?"

(And? What was my child doing?)

"Mumma, Junnu park!"

"Park chale si? Nice nice, mumma nu phone deo madaja."

(You were going to park? Nice nice, give phone to mumma.)

"Mumma, papa phone!" She said passing her the phone.

"Hello?" My wifey says in her hypnotic voice.

"Oh main keha kiddan Mithiye?"

(Oh I asked how are you my sweet one.)

"Nothing, just taking Junnu out for some time."

"Sahi hai, you sit on the bench okay?"

"Haan haan, I'll sit."

"Papa! Junnu finished A B C till G today!" Her voice came from behind.

I laughed at my cute baby.

"That is such a great thing!! My Junnu is so smart and intelligent!"

"Hmm just like her mother." I heard Noor.

"For sure!"

"Acha chalo I'll hang up the phone, baad mein krte hain bat."

"Haan bas I'm also on my way to home."

And with this, she hanged up.

I buy some chocolates for Junnu and Noor along with oranges.

She was craving oranges..

Within 15 mins, I reached the apartment and parked the car in the basement.

Noor and Junnu must be in the park.

So I went towards the park instead of our home.

"Aww, Your kids look so pretty!" An old lady said.

Before Noor could reply, Junnu said,

"Mumma look! We made sand house!"

"Hmm it's beautiful!"

"It's your 3rd baby? Which month is it?" The same old lady said to Noor.

"Uh-actually"

"It's our second baby." I stepped in and spoke up as I got close to my wife, who was sitting on the bench and put my hand on her shoulder.

"Papa!!" My little babygirl who was filled with sand from head to toe ran towards me when she saw me.

When I had not met Noor, I was neat freak.

But right now, instead of caring about the sand on my girl, all I cared was to pick her up in my arms and hug her.

Because this is what makes the whole hectic day worth it at the end of the day.
