With a deep breath, Jungkook looked at the door bell and raised his hand. He blushed and put his hand down. So much had changed in one year. Last year on Tae's birthday he was still that annoying Jungkook – running away from the poor boy. And now – now he couldn't wait to run to the boy.
It was finally his 20th birthday.
His baby had finally turned 20.
He rang the bell and waited for that gorgeous face to open the door but his two – idiotic best friends opened the door.
"Oh – uncle Jeon is here," Jimin teased and made way for Jungkook.
Entering the house, Jungkook kept looking for Tae. He could only hear voices of all of the Mins. They were in the kitchen debating about the food and cake.
"So – Mr. Jeon," Hobi asked while Jimin pushed the door shut, "You are finally here. Your boyfriend is going crazy over there. You finally arrived with Tae Tae's birthday gift."
Jungkook frowned and realized Hobi was staring at Jungkook's crotch.
"You are disgusting," Jungkook scowled and kept his eyes on the kitchen hoping for his love to get out.
Jimin shook his head disappointed, "Hoba – that's so rude of you. Um – uncle Jeon we got you something," taking out a CD from his pocket he put forward in Jungkook's hands, "This is in case you two decide to do it tonight and wanna feel like – you know – filming it."
With a deadpan face, Jungkook pushed the CD to Jimin's chest and hissed, "I will slice your throat with this CD. I am fucking serious."
But all his angry boiled down when he heard that sweet voice.
"Hyung," Tae was standing by the lamp with his new birthday clothes and that boxy smile on his face.
Tae was wearing a white flowery shirt and checkered pants. He was about to hug Jungkook but his parents emerged out.
"We are the Mins – we don't do that," Jay was constantly ranting and arranging plates on the table.
Yoongi was bringing food from the kitchen with an angry pout.
They all settled on the dining table, Hobi leaving a place empty for Jungkook to sit beside Tae.
Yoongi and Jay had gifted Tae I-pad while his best friends had made him a friendship journal with another secret gift (lingerie)
"Um – I am sorry – I didn't get Tae anything this time. I was so busy," Jungkook apologized looking at everyone but Tae.
He glanced at Tae who was blushing hard even at the comment. He couldn't believe finally he was 20.
That was his birthday gift itself.
"It's okay, hyung," Tae smiled blinking and went back to focusing on his food.
