GEORGE HARRISON SAT IN THE HARRISON-CALDWELL LIVING ROOM, stuck watching little Leslie early in the morning since his siblings went out for a bite to eat, Gordon was out at the mines, and Gordie was at school. He did not want to go, perhaps because Valerie was not going, so he had to stay with Leslie. They were playing with Play-Doh at the coffee table; she was sitting on the floor with her legs forming a W, and he was sitting hunched over on the couch. George made a long snake, and the little girl created a colony of tiny bugs.
