April 8th, 2024. 9:00am. Los Angeles, California.

The solar eclipse is right around the corner. Jordan, your average teenage boy. Is slightly afraid of this eclipse, he really doesn't want to go blind by the solar eclipse everyone is so excited for. As he sleeps in extra, but wakes up to the sound of a load of people in his house. What in the world is all that racket?

"Huh?" Jordan mumbles as he walks downstairs and just stares at all the people walking in front of him. He runs up to his mom, Daniella, to ask a few questions. "Ma.. Why is there so many people?" Jordan asks, "Well son, we're throwing a party! For the eclipse!" Daniella replies, "Why are we throwing a party?! For the annual eye frying ceremony?" Jordan says, gritting his teeth, but he quickly sighs and calms down. "Anyways, I didn't even know you had this many friends." Jordan says as he looks at all of the people in the room.

Only 2 more hours  until this solar eclipse happens. So Jordan walks around and see's where his friends are. As he walks up to his group, the entire group chat is here, Jane, Daniel, and Emma.
"Oh god, I thought you guys wouldn't even show up." Jordan says smiling at everyone, "I coulda sworn I sent a message, sorry." Daniel says, his arm around Jane's shoulder, Jordan slightly dislikes the connection the 2 have, it makes him uncomfortable. But he glares at Emma, the sweet beam of light that's in the group chat. She makes everything better, but she has the same look as Jordan. He guesses, not everything can be according to plan.

They all go to Jordan's room, the group all discusses the eclipse.
"I think it sounds interesting." Jane says with her elegant, british, voice. "I'm not even scared about it." Daniel says, trying to look high and mighty, (Jane digs it.) "I'm scared for it." Emma says as she wipes the sweat from her forehead. "Right?"  Jordan thinks, "It's pretty weird though, I don't think nobody in school told me how the eclipse works other than the moon covering the sun. Which is not very helpful" Jordan sighs. "Don't get too worked up about it, we got the glasses anyways." Daniel says, as he sighs.

9:30AM.

People are walking through the doors every few minutes, Jordan is confused on who these people are, he just thinks they are people from his mom's work. What is even the point in throwing a party? It's just an eclipse.
As the end of the hour approaches. Jordan gets more anxious, they're so close to the eclipse now, well, not really. Jordan runs downstairs to get some food, as he sits down, someone sits down next to him, he looks to see who it is. It's a girl, ginger, short hair, and green piercing eyes. Jordan quickly looks away, he never makes eye contact with girls.
"Hey, do I know you?" The girl says, "The way you look.. I recognize you, sort of." She says, her smile is infectious. Oh boy, Julius is in for a ride.

(A Message From  SONIX:

Welcome, to my new novel, Super Solar, I took a long break, and now with this brilliant idea, we're going to be back for a while! ROGUE is no longer in development for the time being, it was not a good idea and the entire romance plot fell off. The hiatus will be relevant for that one. God, Save the Children as well, I'm going to focus on this one for now. GSTC was an interesting idea, but too gory and weird for my liking. By the way, every chapter will be at least one 1-2 pages long. Just so you, the viewer, don't feel cramped into finishing a long chapter. The real story doesn't begin until Chapter 3. Because that's when the eclipse begins.. ANYWAYS THANK YOU FOR READING AND COMMENT YOUR OPINION AND WHAT I COULD DO BETTER!!!!!!! TYTYTY!!!!!)
