Betrayal

Over the past weeks, Lacy and Grayson have been avoiding Carson separately. Lacy has been planning something big and Grayson has been away, meeting up with the guy who invented the bracelet. Grayson hasn't been able to attain the seer's abilities, the moment he broke the bracelet, releasing the power out it searched for its rightful owner Carson, leading to her dorm room but he was able to trap it into a bottle. Yet each meeting with the inventor has been useless.

Carson felt guilty, thinking that she was becoming a bad friend again for three reasons. The first reason is the avoidance of Lacy and Grayson; she thought she had lost the bracelet and wanted to explain to Grayson but he's been away. Every time she sees Lacy, she turns away. The second reason is the constant lying towards her friend group about the Dumdblore army, she states that she was having meetings with Professor Trelawney when in reality she was training (Grayson has been missing the training). And lastly, was her powers. Yes, she hates them but without it she's scared of the unknown. In her room thinking and high with her friend group and holding hands with Enzo but has zoned out, she sits up straight from the floor, and there she has an epiphany, " I don't think I'm a seer anymore, it's gone, no more powers " but how?

Pulling her back to the circle, Enzo is thrilled for two reasons. First, no more Grayson and Lacy. Second, Carson's abilities are gone which means that the dark lord would no longer want her.

In the Room of Requirement, a week later

At that moment Carson and Luna partner up practicing spells while Umbridge and the inquisitorial squad, plus Cho (not by choice) strut to punish all students in the army. Knocking on the wall, Carson is at the back (hiding) from the rest of the students watching the hole get bigger. Pushing the students to get out of the room and into another room for their punishment Enzo finally sees Carson.  Everyone in the army spends hours using Umbridge's special quill. As the night falls, Carson slowly walks to her room and presses the key into her door, it's already open. She sees Enzo sitting in her bed with a mad expression.

Carson with a rushed voice: "Look I wanted to tell you but I couldn't. Hermione thought it was best that no Slytherins were invited well accept me obviously. But, um-"

Taking her injured hand, he gently places an ice bag on it.

Yes, Enzo is a little mad about the lying but he's more concerned about the redness of Caron's hand. Removing the ice, he places a small kiss and a healing potion.

Carson:' Thank you"

Enzo:" You're welcome. But-"

Carson:" But what?"

Enzo:" Well it's a good thing this over. Dumbledore's army is done."

Carson:" Yeah... for now."

Enzo:" You're not serious. I forbid it."

Carson on walking back and forth, eyes on the floor:" You forbid it. Forbid, what are you some, some I can't think right now but you can't control me. "

Enzo grabs her wrist to stop the pacing, making direct eye contact and smirking:" What, I just want you to be safe. It's dangerous."

Carson's scoffed:" Stop smirking, why are you smirking?"

Enzo:" Because you're cute when you're mad"

Before she can answer, he kisses her lip. Going down to the neck.

Carson:" Enzo... we need to talk"

Carson:" I--"

Going back to her lips.

They never finished that conversation.

Due to Umrbidge punishment lasting in hours. It gives Lacy a perfect opportunity. During the third day of the punishment, Lacy uses the Stunning Spell on Enzo from behind. Like always Carson entered her room late, but in the center was Enzo unconscious and tied up in her desk chair. Carson rushes up to him, she crouches down but is stopped by Lacy. Holding her wand against Carson's head, "Dont move"

Carson:" What's going on?" as she slowly turns to face Lacy

Lacy:" I love Enzo, I always have, but you're in the way. I'm sorry, truly you are a great friend but Enzo is a great lover. "

Forcing Carson down onto her knees and removing her wand right next to Enzo, "So what's your plan?"

Lacy:" I was waiting for that question. I have been planning this for ages. Constantly changing but Grayson helped and made me realize it would be better to obliviate both of your memories"

Carson:" Grayson?"

Lacy:" Speak of the devil".

Grayson walks up from behind placing a new bracelet back on Carson's arm

Carson:" I don't understand, you're so supposed to protect me. We're friends."

Enzo finally wakes up but isn't able to talk or move from the tape and rope.

Grayson:" You're not hurt, everything is going to be fine. Trust me, I care for you"

Lacy:" Are you two ready? Once this is over, Enzo will be with me and Grayson will be with you.  1-"

Carson wasn't going to give up so easily. Lunging herself to Lacy, taking her down to the floor, and removing her wand, Carson's bracelet broke. Black energy covers the whole room. Thanks to being in the Dumbledore army, Carson uses defensive spells. Carson uses the Everte Statum spell to send Lacy flying backward in a flipping formation. Thanks to the darkness, Grayson was able to escape.

Lacy was expelled and sent to a mental hospital.

Despite, the constant quill writing over the two weeks, today will be the last day of punishment as the twins set up a display of fireworks flying in the brooms. Everyone including teachers celebrates Umbridge being scared off. On her side, is Harry who shortly falls. Running in a group, they are ready to leave but Umbridge stops that. When Hermione reveals Dumbledore's secret weapon, the trio leaves. The inquisitorial squad keeps a watch on the silver trio plus Carson. The silver trio is ready to use their Defense skills on them, unlike Carson who doesn't know of the plan as she watches Luna disarm Enzo and locks the squad in Umbridge's office. "Sorry Enzo", Luna quickly grabs Carson's hand. On their way out, they run into the golden trio.

In the Department of Mysteries, they all follow Harry into a room filled with crystal balls. Neville noticed one crystal that was different from the rest, Carson and Harry both heard it calling Harry's name. Carson places her hands to pass it to Harry, but her vision is cut off. Her eyes turn white just like the crystal. Together they glow, and she sees the prophecy. Ready to collapse, she lets go of the crystal ball but Harry catches it and her together. Seconds later, Lucius Malfoy orders him to hand it over. More death eaters are coming, and everyone is running, using spells to escape but the death eaters capture Harry's friends. Lucius Malfoy is trying to convince Harry to hand him the crystal ball, but his friends are shouting nos. As Harry watches the order of the phoenix, saving them he drops the crystal ball. They are winning until Sirius is hit by Bellatrix's curse, and his stunned body arcs into the air and floats through the archway, disappearing behind the veil. Harry screams and runs towards Bellatrix as Carson is still in shock. The only hope for Lucius Malfoy to not be empty-handed is Carson. His dark aurora flies to her and just like that she disappears with him.
