After a long day of fixing cars, and enjoying with each other everyone had left after eating the hearty dinner.
Jungkook and Yoongi stayed back to finish fixing the car bumper before locking up the shop.
Exhausted, they headed back to their house, fell asleep, and woke up early the next morning to start a new day at the garage. As they reached the garage together, their tired faces turned into shocked expressions. The lock was broken, and it was evident that someone had broken into the shop. Jungkook's heart sank as he realized he had lost the keys.
Yoongi, who was already a bit on edge, exploded, "Jungkook, how could you be so careless? Losing the keys was bad enough, but now this? Do you even realize the trouble we're in?" His tone was sharp, cutting through Jungkook's already guilt-ridden state.
Jungkook, feeling the weight of his mistake, lowered his head, unable to meet Yoongi's gaze. "I'm sorry, hyung. I didn't mean for this to happen," he mumbled, his voice barely audible.
Seokjin and Hoseok, came to the garage when the heard the commotion and as always the peacemakers they , stepped in.
Jin, "Yoongi, let's not dwell on the blame game right now. We need to focus on what to do next."Hoseok, who had been quiet until now, added, "Yeah, accidents happen. Let's not dwell on it. We'll find a solution."
Yoongi, still visibly upset, took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. He knew lashing out wouldn't solve anything. "Fine, let's just deal with this mess. But Jungkook, please, be more responsible in the future. We can't afford these kinds of mistakes."
Jungkook nodded, grateful for Yoongi's slight change in tone. They quickly assessed the damage and called the police to report the break-in, hoping for a swift resolution. While They called the police and explained the situation, Taehyung took notice of Jungkook's sadness. Wanting to cheer him up, Taehyung suggested, "Hey, why don't we go to the club tonight? It might lift your spirits!"
Agreeing to the plan, they headed to work for the day
Later that evening, at the club, Taehyung and Jungkook found themselves in the midst of the lively crowd, the pulsating music energizing them.
Taehyung, noticing Jungkook's lingering sadness, nudged him playfully. "Come on, Jungkookie! Let's dance away your troubles!"
Jungkook hesitated at first but soon let himself get lost in the music, moving to the beat with Taehyung by his side. They laughed and joked, temporarily forgetting the day's events. As the night wore on and the drinks flowed freely, Jungkook and Taehyung's inhibitions faded. They danced like there was no tomorrow, drawing admiring glances from the crowd.
Outside, after a while, the cool night air hit them, and they stumbled upon a troubling scene. A man was holding a girl's wrist tightly, his words harsh and demeaning.
Taehyung's protective instincts kicked in immediately. "Let her go, man!" he yelled, stepping forward with determination.Jungkook, emboldened by Taehyung's support, stood beside him, his voice firm. "Yeah, you heard him. Let her go before things get ugly."
The man, clearly inebriated and aggressive, pushed Taehyung, who stumbled but managed to regain his balance. Jungkook, his adrenaline pumping, stepped forward, ready to defend the girl. Suddenly, the man swung a punch at Jungkook, catching him off guard. The blow landed, sending Jungkook staggering backward, shocked by the sudden turn of events.
MEANWHILE
Yoongi, Jin, and Hoseok sat together at a corner table, their expressions serious as they discussed the break-in and its implications.
Yoongi couldn't shake off the feeling of guilt for leaving the keys with Jungkook, knowing he should have been more cautious.
Hoseok placed a comforting hand on Yoongi's shoulder. "Hey, it's not your fault. We all make mistakes. The important thing is that no one got hurt."
Jin nodded in agreement. "He's right. What's done is done. We just need to be more vigilant from now on."Yoongi sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I just can't believe this happened. We need to make sure this doesn't happen again.
Jin chimed in, "Maybe we should invest in better security measures. It might cost us more, but it's worth it for everyone's safety."
Hoseok nodded, "I agree. We can't afford to take any chances. Let's look into upgrading our security system."The day had been eventful, to say the least, but as they walked back home, Yoongi felt a sense of reassurance knowing that they had each other's backs. They were more than just friends; they were a family, and together, they could overcome any challenge that came their way.
