The morning sun painted the breakfast table in a warm glow as Namjoon sat across from Y/N. His words hung heavy in the air as he revealed his recent meeting with Yoongi. Y/N's grip on her fork tightened, but she managed a tight-lipped smile."It's your life, Namjoon. You can meet whoever you want," she said, trying to sound casual.
As the days passed, Namjoon's meetings with Yoongi became more frequent, and Sohee seemed to always be by Jungkook's side. Y/N felt a growing sense of isolation and resentment towards Yoongi, believing he was taking everyone away from her.
One day, she called Jungkook to her cafe by the beach. As he arrived, she issued an ultimatum, asking him to choose between Sohee and Yoongi. She would approve of their relationship if he moved in with them and cut all ties with Yoongi. Y/N left him to decide, feeling a mix of determination and frustration.
Unbeknownst to her, Namjoon had overheard the conversation. He confronted Y/N, urging her not to act out of selfishness and warning her that her actions could ruin Sohee and Jungkook's relationship.
Namjoon squeezed her hand gently. "Y/N, I understand you're hurting, but asking Jungkook to choose between his brother and his love isn't the right approach. Let's find a way to resolve this without putting him in such a difficult position."
Disappointed, Namjoon left Y/N to reconsider her actions.
When Y/N returned to Jungkook, he was sitting with Sohee. He told Sohee about Y/N's condition, which enraged her. Sohee couldn't understand how Y/N could ask Jungkook to leave Yoongi. Jungkook, however, remained calm and resolute.
"I love you, Sohee, but I love my brother more," he said, his voice trembling with emotion. "He's not just my brother; he's my father my friend, my everything. My brother may seem cold, but he's not a bad person like your sister. I wonder why Yoongi broke up with her."
With tears threatening to spill, Jungkook ended the relationship and walked away. Y/N, feeling insulted and angry, couldn't hold back.
"You think he's so perfect, but he's not! Yoongi is not even your real brother, Jungkook! He's adopted!" Y/N revealed, her voice laced with bitterness.
Jungkook, shocked and confused, couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Stop lying, Y/N. Yoongi is my brother."
Y/N smirked, a look of defiance in her eyes. "I'm not lying, Jungkook. Go ask your so-called brother if you don't believe me."
With that, Y/N watched as Jungkook walked away, his world turned upside down by her revelation. She knew that her words had struck a nerve, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction as she watched him leave
As Jungkook reached home he stepped into the warm, inviting kitchen, the aroma of dinner filled the air. He found Yoongi standing there, a smile on his face, as he turned around, sensing Jungkook's presence. "Right on time, Kookie. Dinner's ready. Let's eat," Yoongi said cheerfully.
But Jungkook didn't respond as expected so yoongi looked up only to see his face was stained with tears, his eyes reflecting a storm of emotions. Sensing something was wrong, Yoongi's heart skipped a beat.
He dropped the bowl he was holding, the sound of it shattering echoing in the room, and rushed to Jungkook, his voice filled with panic and concern. "Kookie, what happened? Did someone hurt you? Tell Hyung, I'll take care of it. What happened? Tell me," he urged, his voice trembling with worry.
As Jungkook stood there, tears streaming down his face, he finally whispered, "Hyung, I have to ask you something." Yoongi nodded, encouraging him to continue.
"Is there something that you're hiding from me?" Jungkook's voice was filled with fear and uncertainty.
Yoongi was taken aback. He paused for a moment, trying to gather his thoughts, then replied, "No, I don't think so. Why do you ask?"
Jungkook's next words hit Yoongi like a ton of bricks. "Are you really not my hyung?"
Shocked, Yoongi felt his heart shatter into a million pieces. He moved away from Jungkook, sitting on a chair, and asked with a straight face, "Who said that to you?"
Jungkook's answer pierced through the silence. "Soohee's sister told me."
Yoongi felt the weight of his secret crushing him. With his eyes filled with tears he looked into Jungkook's eyes, hoping for understanding. "It's true that I'm not your full brother," he began, his voice barely above a whisper. "But it's also true that I love you more than a full brother. I hid this from you because I didn't want to lose you."
Jungkook's tears flowed freely as he processed Yoongi's words. "Y/N put a condition for agreeing to our relationship, that I must leave you," Jungkook confessed, his voice breaking.
Yoongi was speechless. He never imagined that his past would come back to haunt him like this. "So, what did you say?" he asked, his heart pounding in his chest.
"I left her, Hyung. No one is more important to me than you," Jungkook replied, his voice filled with conviction.
Yoongi's heart swelled with love and pride for Jungkook. "Do love you this much" Yoongi wisper asked, needing to hear the confirmation from Jungkook himself.
"Yes," Jungkook nodded, tears still streaming down his face.
As Jungkook cried in Yoongi's embrace, Yoongi whispered, "I'm so sorry, Kookie. I never wanted you to go through this. I should have been honest with you from the start."
Jungkook looked up, tears still flowing, and said, "Hyung, you're the only family I have. I can't lose you."
Yoongi embraced Jungkook tightly, tears of remorse and love mingling with Jungkook's.
In that moment, they both knew that their bond was unbreakable, forged not by blood, but by love and loyalty. Jungkook found solace in Yoongi's embrace, feeling safe and loved, knowing that no matter what, they would always have each other.___________
