Mi-Sul's footsteps echoed in the karaoke building as he approached the reception, his mind set on a solitary evening encapsulated within the four walls of a private room. As he interacted with the receptionist, a familiar laughter reached his ears, prompting him to glance over his shoulder. There, entering the building, was Ju-Kyung, flanked by Su-Ho, Soo-Jin, Soo-Ah, and Tae-Hoon. Mi-Sul quickly turned away, hoping to remain unnoticed; solitude was his only desire.

Fate, however, had other plans. Soo-Ah's eyes narrowed, a frown creasing her forehead. "Isn't he Mi-Sul?" she questioned, her voice carrying a note of uncertainty. The group's attention shifted, following her gaze. "Oh yea," Tae-Hoon confirmed, recognition dawning on his face.

Under his breath, Mi-Sul let out a silent curse, his anonymity shattered. "Oppa!" Soo-Jin's call rang out, slicing through the hum of the building. Mi-Sul didn't hesitate; as soon as his booking was confirmed, he strode away, each step widening the gap between him and the group.

Soo-Jin, driven by concern, made to follow, but Ju-Kyung's hand on her shoulder halted her. "Let him be alone for some time," Ju-Kyung urged, her voice gentle yet firm. Soo-Jin, caught in a moment of indecision, ultimately exhaled a resigned sigh and nodded, acknowledging Ju-Kyung's wisdom. The group watched as Mi-Sul's retreating figure disappeared into the maze of corridors, leaving them to ponder the reasons for his sudden departure.

As Ju-Kyung stepped out of the washroom, the melodic strains of a duet reached her ears, drawing her towards the sound. The song 'How do you do' filled the hallway, its lyrics echoing her own hidden feelings. "Sometimes I forget and pretend to be fine," sang the voices in perfect harmony, their talent undeniable. "Gosh, they're good," Ju-Kyung murmured to herself, a smile tugging at her lips despite the confusion swirling within her. "I also meet someone," the song continued, and she couldn't help but think, they could be singers.

The tune was hauntingly familiar, a melody that resonated with her on a level she couldn't quite place. "It's been a habit to miss a lot of things," the voices sang, and Ju-Kyung's mind raced. "Where have I heard it before?" she wondered, her steps slowing as she pondered the question.

She resumed her walk towards the room where her friends awaited, the song's chorus playing over in her mind. "How do you do? How are you doing? I don't think I'm all right. You're not here and you're not alone. Trapped in a castle of regret." The voices behind the song, unbeknownst to her, belonged to Mi-Sul and Seo-Jun, their shared passion for music creating a moment of unexpected connection between them.
