The cafeteria buzzed with activity as students filled the space during lunchtime. Among the throng, Lee Su-Ho and Han Seo-Jun locked eyes, their tension palpable. The air crackled with unspoken animosity, and it seemed as though they could ignite into a fierce battle at any moment.
"Lee Su-Ho!" Seo-Jun's voice sliced through the ambient chatter, drawing Mi-Sul's attention. The accusation hung heavy in the air. "You must be happy even after killing your friend," Seo-Jun spat out, his words sharp and accusatory.
Seo-Jun, undeterred, pushed the tray from Su-Ho's hand and slid into the seat between Mi-Sul and Ju-Kyung. His presence disrupted the delicate balance, and Ju-Kyung glanced at him curiously. "Is it because of the helmet?" she asked, referring to the protective gear that had caused so much turmoil.
Seo-Jun's lips curved into a wry smile. "No," he replied, his gaze fixed on Ju-Kyung. "I came to eat with you." His casual demeanor belied the tension that simmered beneath the surface. Little did he know that jealous eyes followed their every move—two hearts silently yearning for their attention.
But Su-Ho couldn't contain his rage any longer. He lunged toward Seo-Jun, fingers curling around the collar of his blazer. Seo-Jun rose, anger flashing in his eyes. "Are you serious?" he muttered, his smirk fading into a steely resolve.
Breaking free from Su-Ho's grip, Seo-Jun's fist connected with precision, sending Su-Ho sprawling to the ground. The cafeteria erupted in gasps and whispers. "HAN SEO-JUN!" Mi-Sul's voice cut through the chaos, his shock turning into anger. He moved toward Seo-Jun, his steps purposeful. "Are you mad?" He demanded, his concern for Su-Ho evident.
Seo-Jun adjusted his blazer, his expression unyielding. Su-Ho staggered to his feet, fury etched across his features. Once again, he seized Seo-Jun's collar, knuckles white as he raised his fist, ready to retaliate.
But Mi-Sul had reached his limit. His voice, usually calm and measured, now held an edge. "Stop it, both of you!" He commanded, his words echoing off the cafeteria walls. The room fell silent, and even the bravest souls shivered under the weight of his authority.
Su-Ho hesitated, torn between rage and reason. Seo-Jun, however, remained defiant. "Hit me," he challenged, daring Su-Ho to cross the line once more. Mi-Sul's warning was lost on him. "Go ahead and hit me."
Before the confrontation could escalate further, the principal intervened. "Hey!" he bellowed, striding toward them. "What do you think you're doing? Back away from each other!" Mi-Sul stepped in, pushing both combatants apart, his resolve unyielding.
