The school's corridors echoed with the fading footsteps of students, signaling the end of another bustling day. In the waiting area of the hospital, a sense of anticipation hung in the air as Han Seo-Jun, Hwang Mi-Sul, and Ms. Hwang stood in wait. The moment Ms. Lee emerged from the lift, Seo-Jun couldn't contain his excitement. "Mom!" he called out, his voice a blend of joy and relief.

Ms. Hwang greeted them with a wave, her smile a silent welcome. Mi-Sul, ever respectful, offered a bow in greeting.

The conversation quickly turned to matters of health and concern. "Did you meet the doctor?" Seo-Jun inquired, his worry for Ms. Lee evident in his tone.

Ms. Lee, however, was more curious about their presence. "Why did you two come here instead of going home?" she asked, her maternal instincts kicking in.

Mi-Sul's response was heartfelt, "We came to meet you here because we missed you," he said, wrapping an arm around Ms. Han in a side hug that spoke volumes of their bond.

Ms. Han's concern shifted to their mode of transportation. "Don't tell me you two rode a motorcycle here," she admonished, her voice laced with worry.

Seo-Jun's protest was immediate, "I told you that I was done with it," he whined, the frustration of being misunderstood clear in his voice.

Mi-Sul, ever the peacemaker, chimed in with a light-hearted tease, "Ms. Mi-Hyang, why're you being a worrywart?" His words drew a chuckle from Ms. Han, easing the tension in the air.

Seo-Jun redirected the conversation back to Ms. Han's health. "What did the doctor say?" he asked, his concern palpable.

Ms. Han's news was reassuring, "The transplant is taking well, and my numbers are also good. I was told not to skip my medicines." Her words brought visible relief to Seo-Jun, who immediately suggested a celebratory meal. "That's great! We should grab something to eat and call Gu-Woon out," he said, his enthusiasm infectious.

But Ms. Han had other plans. "Maybe next time. I've someplace to be today," she replied, her tone apologetic yet firm.

The simultaneous question from Seo-Jun and Mi-Sul, "Where?" highlighted their curiosity and concern, a testament to the close-knit ties that bound them together.

The parlor was a scene of unexpected reunions and comical mishaps. As Ms. Han entered with Seo-Jun and Mi-Sul, Mrs. Im's surprise was palpable. "My gosh! Mi-Hyang is that you?" she exclaimed, her voice a mixture of shock and delight.

Ju-Kyung's reaction was one of sheer panic as she recognized the duo. With no makeup on, she felt exposed and hastily retreated behind the curtains, clutching the facial mask like a lifeline.

"This is my son, and this is Eun-Bi's son," Ms. Han introduced, prompting Seo-Jun and Mi-Sul to bow politely. "Hello," they greeted, only to be met with Mrs. Im's enthusiastic praise. "My gosh. Goodness gracious. How can someone be so handsome?" she marveled, causing both young men to blush with shyness.

The moment was interrupted by a sudden commotion as Ju-Kyung, hidden behind the curtains, lost her balance and tumbled to the floor. The sight was enough to make Mi-Sul fight back laughter, while Ju-Kyung was consumed by embarrassment.

"Are you out of your mind? What are you doing? Get up, Ju-Kyung!" Mrs. Im scolded, her voice filled with a mix of concern and exasperation.

"Im Ju-Kyung?" Seo-Jun and Mi-Sul said in unison, their recognition adding to Ju-Kyung's mortification.

Amidst the chaos, Seo-Jun and Mi-Sul couldn't resist capturing the moment on their phones, their synchronized exclamation of "Unbelievable" marking their shared amusement.

Ju-Kyung, fed up with the situation, announced her intention to leave, only to be reminded by her mother to wash her face first, lest she startle the neighbors.

After a brief interlude, Ju-Kyung reemerged, her face clean and her composure somewhat restored. She approached her mother, with Seo-Jun and Mi-Sul trailing behind, still engrossed in their phones.

Ms. Han's comment on Ju-Kyung's beauty was meant as a compliment, suggesting a popularity at school that comes with such looks. "You must be close to Mi-Sul and Seo-Jun since your classmates," she assumed, but Ju-Kyung was quick to correct her, "No, we're not," distancing herself from any implied connection with the boys.

The laughter of Ms. Han and Mrs. Im filled the room, a warm sound that seemed to wrap the young trio in a blanket of familial affection. "They can be starting today. You three clearly have everything going for you," Mrs. Im said, her laughter still echoing as she extended an invitation to Mi-Sul and Seo-Jun. "Since we said hello, come by the house tomorrow, I'll cook you a meal." The boys nodded in agreement, silently accepting the offer.

Ju-Kyung, however, had other plans. "But I'm studying with my friends tomorrow," she protested, only to be interrupted by the synchronized voices of Seo-Jun and Mi-Sul revealing her blind date plans. Her eyes widened in shock, a reaction mirrored by Mrs. Im, who couldn't resist teasing her about the sudden need for a facial.

Ms. Han's lament about her son's motorcycle obsession was cut short by Ju-Kyung's slip of the tongue, revealing the boys' recent reckless escapade. The revelation prompted a swift and synchronized "Hey!" from the duo, as they attempted to silence her.

Ms. Han, now aware of the broken promise, was incredulous. Seo-Jun's defense about the practicality of riding his motorcycle did little to assuage her concerns, leading her to enlist Ju-Kyung's help in keeping the boys off their bikes.

Mi-Sul's plea against this new arrangement fell on deaf ears as Ju-Kyung assured Ms. Han of her cooperation, much to the boys' chagrin. Their synchronized protests and veiled threats did little to deter Ju-Kyung, who confidently promised to keep their secrets safe.

As Mi-Sul and Seo-Jun walked away, the humor of the situation wasn't lost on them. Seo-Jun's amusement at Ju-Kyung's picture and Mi-Sul's agreement was a testament to the day's unexpected turns and the shared bond that continued to grow among them.
