The snow was a pitiful white as Wu's body lay motionless across the ground, his neck twitching slightly but not by much. A gentle gust of wind brought him to his senses as he shot upright like a wooden stake and forced his eyes open to observe the world around him. Wu looked around his surroundings, finding a small shack just out of the clearing in the woods. He staggered across the ground before picking himself up, reaching for his head, no bleeding or any damage at all, Wu trudged through the snow until he reached the door of the lone house; he knocked gently three times. A young woman opened the door and caught a glimpse of his tattered clothes, she immediately ushered him inside as he fell down on a wooden chair.
"You're a long way from the town, y'know." She chuckled, "Are you lost."
Wu thought for a moment.
"Not lost, just losing." He responded, "Where am I?"
"This is Taisho. The land stretches quite vast but not much happens here. Just look out for the demons." She mentioned.
"Hmm. I will keep an eye out, thank you." Wu sincerely spoke.
"Well, I'm Kie Kamado. Pleasure to meet you, Mister?" Kie asked.
"Wu. Just Wu, my Father never shared his last name." He remarked, "Or his first for that matter."
Kie grazed her hands over his gravely skin, sparks of light began to emit from his palms.
"You are an Elemental?" Kie noticed, "We get very few around here."
"Oh yeah, sorry. It's a... Creative element. I'm half of a whole with my brother. He hones the darkness in everything, but he is a good guy." Wu spoke.
Kie sat herself down beside Wu, sparks filling each of their eyes. All each of them felt in that short moment was love, infatuation, romance. Wu collapsed into Kie's arms out of fatigue and the rest of that day was history.
Nine years passed since their connection, Wu and Kie raised two children together. Tanjiro Kamado, who was nine, and Nezuko Kamado, who was five. Together, they made the happiest family imaginable, the children even took up Elemental traits. Nezuko bloomed before Tanjiro as she displayed feats of fire, she was the Fire Elemental. Tanjiro's powers never evolved, or even appeared, they each accepted he was powerless but loved him nonetheless.
"Is this how you imagined your life would be?" Kie asked.
"Not at all, but I love it. I love them, and I love you." Wu responded.
"I'll say this though, honey. I could only have imagined the power of your Element, but my, I loved it." Kie laughed, "Y'know, the kids are asleep. How about some food? Momma's hungry for some sausage."
Collapsing out of the trees, Garmadon collapsed to the ground, his head colliding with a dead tree trunk, a figure stood above him as his eyes closed.
"Wake up you insignificant fuck!" The figure roared, picking Garmadon up by his hair.
Garmadon's eyes opened as he was dragged to his feet. A man of tall stature with six eyes, one of which being the symbol for 'Upper 1', and a sword made of flesh opposed him. His natural instincts kicked in as he activated his Elemental power of Darkness.
"You are an Elemental?" He remarked, "What is your name?"
"Garmadon." He responded, "You?"
"Kokushibo, Upper 1." He gravely spoke.
Garmadon waved his arms in front of himself as a shockwave of Darkness erupted from his fists, Kokushibo blocked the attack by growing his blade with his flesh.
"Now!" The demon roared.
Two Obi Sashes wrapped themselves around Garmadon's arms, rendering him vulnerable to an attack. Kokushibo grabbed Garmadon's hair and directed his fist into the his face, knocking Garmadon out. When he woke once again, he was in a labyrinth of wooden walls; an Infinity Castle. He looked around to see Kokushibo stood in-front of him, followed by a woman of impeccable physique, finally a man who remained in the shadows.
"Upper 1 tells me you're an Elemental." The shadow softly spoke.
"Who the fuck are you people?!" Garmadon roared.
"Ignorant bastard." He bellowed, "Here is Kokushibo, Upper Rank 1; a Moon Elemental. Here is Daki, Upper Rank 2; a Obi Elemental, she controls the very fabric she wears."
"So what has this got to do with me?" Garmadon asked.
"Kokushibo is roughly 550 years old and Daki is 115 years old. We need a new Rank for the Kizuki. You want power, don't you, Garmadon? Become a demon and you can have all the power you need." The shadow bargained.
"Akronix and Krux will pay. I'll do it!" He spoke, accepting the offer.
The figure leaned out his hand as a sharp needle pierced through Garmadon's flesh. Blood poured everywhere as his ribs widened to allow two extra arms to sprout from his waist, his eyes became a tainted shade of red as his skin became enveloped in his Elemental power, turning a dark shade of purple and black. His cries of pain erupted and then silenced. A soft cackle emerged from the wails.
"Rise, Lord Garmadon." He commanded.
Garmadon rose to his feet as one of his two eyes had the encryption 'Upper 3'. Lord Garmadon was part of the Kizuki.
"You now bow to me, Muzan Kibutsuji." Muzan ordered as all three Moons grovelled to his feet, "Good."
Muzan snapped his fingers and Garmadon was back in the woods, he staggered towards a puddle to peer at his reflection. He had no regret, his power was energised 10-fold but he felt hollow, Garmadon was bound to the Demon King in a thirst for power to kill Akronix and Krux. A hasty decision that couldn't be undone, he was ready to kill for Muzan, no matter who stood in his way.
