Evading Garmadon's ambush, Tanjiro kept running through the Valley to keep a distance between him and the Demons. The sight of Morro's evaporation lingered in his mind as he heard the deafening sounds of Garmadon's roars silence themselves the further he went. A strike of blue Temporal Lightning clashed to the ground as everything began to slow-down, then a green flash sped it all up, it was like teleportation. The Kamado had to keep running, it was all he could think, then he saw it; Mitsuri falling from the Wall and onto his speeding body. They both crashed to the ground as Mitsuri pinned Tanjiro's hands to the ground, rendering him immobile; her agitated growls teething in his face.

"Mitsuri... please, don't do this." Tanjiro sighed heavily, drool slowly falling onto his face.

"Tan... ji... ro." Upper 3 whispered.

She released her grip of the Green Slayer as her limbs fell limp, cuddling herself over his torso.

"Help... us." She sniffled.

Tanjiro took his hand to her cheek, rolling his thumb to wipe away her tears. They lost themselves in each others eyes as they leant in to savour a tender and heartfelt kiss.

"THE TIME is now!" Muzan roared from the Spire, ending their moment of passion.

"I will save you all, trust me." Tanjiro promised, leaving Mitsuri on the ground.

Wu staggered over to the Demon in a bowl of pain, Garmadon's Darkness lingering though his muscles. The Sensei picked Mitsuri off the ground to take them both to safety, away from the Spire and towards the edge of the Wall. As Tanjiro made his way to the outer stairwell of the Spire, Kokushibo crashed in-front of him, his sword completely sheathed.

"You don't have to believe me, Demon. But I can help you." Tanjiro bargained.

"You have gained the trust of my wife, so you have gained my belief, too. Go, Slayer. Don't make me regret this." Kokushibo grunted, allowing Tanjiro to pass though.

Making his way up the Spire, Tanjiro could feel the steady incline of the Spire, the spirals grew smaller as he journeyed closer to the top; there laid a small grounded area, fit for very few to stand upon. The Temporal Strikes felt heavier as Tanjiro scaled the Spire, eventually making to to the top. He was ready to face Muzan.

"Muzan Kibutsuji! I have come here to end this madness!" Tanjiro roared.

"You don't even have a True Potential!" He cackled.

"I don't need the extra power." The Kamado whispered, charging up a ball of Green Energy.

"Well in that case, see you in the Departed Realm!" Muzan screamed.

The Demon King blasted Golden Power down at the Kamado, a small Green Bubble keeping him alive; it was like deja vu. The bubble began to crack as Golden Energy seeped into Tanjiro's palms, mixing with his Green Element. His Elemental Bubble began to disintegrate as a sleeker Golden bubble began to shine over the boy. Just as he awoke his original power, he was sent into the sky as a beacon of hope. The bubble popped as Muzan stopped the circulation of his Golden Power, staring in shock at what he had unlocked inside the boy. Tanjiro's uniform and haori glistened a mystical gold as gold particles evaporated from his body; he had unlocked his True Potential, Golden Power.

"Wha— How?" Muzan stammered, dread and fear enveloping his vision.

"Golden Power?" Tanjiro questioned, "I am the Golden Dragon Master!"

"Boy, you have one chance to surrender!" The Demon King aggressively bargained.

"To Hell with that! I finishing this, right now!" Tanjiro roared.
