Wu and Tanjiro were left to continue their rise to the Spire alone. They could both see the Earthly wall rising and crashing down, as if it were breathing. Then they saw it, Gyomei destroying an entire wall to face Morro, but they could not go back to help him; they had to keep going forward.

"We have to help him, Sensei." Tanjiro scolded.

"No, you fool. This is their fight. You need to reach Muzan to stop this madness!" Wu yelled.

A dark figure shot past the Sensei's gaze, sending a chill down his spine. Wu spun around as a strike of amber Temporal Lightning crashed above the Spire, the figure escaping his view once more. Then he felt it. A rush of wind enveloped his spine, he charged his fists as he threw Tanjiro out of harms way. The Kamado barely escaped Garmadon's ambush.

"Hello, brother." Garmadon maniacally cackled.

"I am no longer your brother." Wu coughed.

Wu powered his fists into Garmadon's extended rib cage, the Demon's elemental shield of flesh blocking the blow. Upper 5 snickered as he grabbed Sensei Wu by the throat, hoisting him at least 4 feet above the ground.

"Go, Kamado... Go." Wu hissed, Garmadon's grip tightening around his neck.

"You friend can't heal you now." Upper 5 grunted.

"SENSEI!" A voice roared from the distance.

A missile of wind collapsed Garmadon to the ground, throwing his body into a broken piece of Inner Wall from the Valley.

"Filthy wretch!" Garmadon screeched, "True Darkness: Abyss!"

Garmadon charged his True Potential, shattering the pulse of Elemental Power through Morro's soul, the sheer force of the Darkness pulling him into the Spire's Walls.

"MORRO!" Wu yelled out.

"Goodbye, Sensei." The Ghost King sighed.

Morro eventually passed the threshold of Muzan's power, dissipating his soul back into the Cursed Realm.

"Now. Where were we?!" Garmadon cackled.

Garmadon powered his four-fists up again, beaming his hands outwards, towards Wu. The Sensei looked back to find Tanjiro missing; he was slightly relieved his son was out of harms way. Time slowed down around everyone close to the Spire as blue Temporal Lightning coursed from the Spire and onto the ground. The effects caught Garmadon's True Potential in slow-motion, but Wu was left unscathed by the Lightning, he still had the Kronosteel cuffs in his pocket. The Sensei lunged out of the blast radius as time standardised itself once more, the charge of Darkness off shooting away from Wu. Garmadon's rage kept him going, moving his torso and arms to face his brother, feeding him the full extent of his powers. The Darkness shot through Wu like a stake, dissipating within his muscles and blood, his insides began to decay as he grew more and more powerless.

"Any last words, brother?" Garmadon gravely warned, stopping his Elemental Power.

Wu staggered to his knees as he placed his hands in his pocket.

"If only you remembered what happened seventeen years ago."

Sensei Wu shot up from his knees as he threw the two cuffs towards Garmadon with immaculate speed, chaining his upper two wrists against the side of the Spire. The Kronosteel had cracked into the Spire, unable to be removed by Garmadon, his wrists, palms, and forearms had repelled and rejected the Elemental coating over his skin; the Steel acted as a barrier to his true flesh.

"See, Garmadon, your flesh is exposed to the air." Wu grunted, his stamina slowly picking back up.

"Seventeen years?!" He roared.

"Yes, you cheap bastard. Seventeen years since we came here! Seventeen fucking years since you broke your oath! WHY?!" Wu roared back.

"You foolish man. To defeat Akronix and Krux!" Garmadon screeched.

"We had the Steel!" He retaliated.

"Deep down, you're a Kibutsuji!" Garmadon spoke.

"No, I'm a Kamado, like my deceased wife and two children." Wu quietly spoke.

The memories of his family boiled his thinned blood as he activated his True Potential. He became clad in rusty-yellow dust as his eyes and fists bloomed a Creative Power. Wu said nothing as he conjured his Creative Potential, a Dragon of Life. The Dragon burst from his hands as it soared through Garmadon's chest, weakening his infinity energised limbs. Wu stopped as Garmadon's head tilted down in defeat.

"See you in the Departed Realm, cunt." Wu spat.

Further down the Valley, Daki approached Kokushibo, who was huddled in a field, sharpening his Fleshy Sword. Her Obi Sashes wrapped themselves around his waist like paper-arms as Upper 2 hugged him from behind, longing for the feeling of his heartbeat.

"What's wrong, Daki?" Upper 1 asked, painfully.

"Please, don't hurt the boy." Daki cried, hugging him tighter.

Kokushibo grudges her off his back on an angered state as he turned to face his wife, pain and heartbreak plastered across his face.

"If you can trust him, then it's good enough for me." He peacefully reassured.

He leaned her in towards his chest as they engaged in a longing kiss, the burning passion between them devouring their minds from battle. It wasn't until they noticed Wu's Dragon from their field of view that they departed to defeat Muzan, once and for all.
