Luke couldn't get his head around what just happened.
He had been walking around the block when he saw a girl across the street.
She had long black hair and tanned skin.
Her eyes caught his and immediately he could see the pain in her green eyes, he curiously kept his gaze on her as she turned away, suddenly fascinated by the paper in her hand.She had turned to leave and Luke, being the curious person he is, decided to see where she was going.
He followed her to the train station.
She stood on the edge of the platform, her hair blowing behind her making her look like a model, it's was only when she turned to put her piece of paper in her pocket did Luke see her green eyes filling with tears. He had gone up so that he was a few feet away from her and continued to watch her, as the young girl had him mesmerised it seemed.
He watched her take a big breath as the train came into view. She had just begun to step off of the platform when Luke had ran up behind her and pulled her back, away from the train that had just gone thundering past.
Now here they were, her back pressed against his front as her sobs vibrated through him.
Onlookers were calling ambulances as the pair were sitting on the ground, both of their hearts beating erratically. He leant down to look at the beautiful girls face,
"What's your name?" His soft voice asked her, his thumb rubbing in small circles over the back of the strangers hand;
she look up at him with tears still streaming out of her emerald coloured eyes.
