Chapter seven
the maze runner
let's get into it
"I'm going back into the maze" I say leaving the med-jack tent, where i was with Jeff, Minho, Newt and Alby's body
Minho follows me
"What is this with you huh?.... you got a death wish?" He stops me
"You said that no one's ever saw a greiver and lived to about it? You're telling me you aren't even the littlest big curious?" I ask
"No actually i'm not" He says
"Listen Minho, theres a greiver in there..." I point to the maze
"...dead, i think it's time we finally find out what we're up against"
"Have the other runners left yet?" I ask
"They all quit this morning, after Alby got stung, there not in a rush to get back out there.... why are you?" He asks
"I want to know what it is"
"What you gonna dissect that thing all by yourself?" He asks
"If i have to, i will" i begin to walk away
"Wait okay, meet me in the woods in half an hour" He says
"I won't be, you better be there"
I wait for Minho to come as i wait outside the hut he showed me
I'm about to leave when he comes around the corner, with Frypan, Winston and Zart
"This be enough?" He asks
I nod
"Okay... let's go" Minho says
We all make our way to the maze and go in, running to where i killed the greiver
"Come on!" Minho says taking the lead
We reach it, it's squashed between the walls, it's legs and guts hanging out
"That's disgusting" Zart says
"There's something in there" I point out
"You mean besides a greiver pancake?" Frypan says
Minho looks at me and i nod
"Woah woah woah woah, what are you doing?" Zart asks
Minho doesn't say anything just reaches his hand inbetween the walls
The greiver screeched and Minho runs back into me, Frypan and Winston, we all move back away from it
"I thought you said it was dead?!" Frypan questions
"Was it a reflex?" Winston asks
