~Unexpected love~ Mattheo x Reader

Where everything began

I was happily chatting with Pansy and Lorenzo, my two best friends. As we waited for the first year's to get sorted. We applauded every new Slytherin got sorted. As the last few students were sorted we couldn't wait to finally eat. I was starving! I didn't get to eat much at home so I was always exited when I got to hogwarts. I live with my aunt who decided to take me in after the passing of my parents. She wasn't nice, she was very strict especially when it came to appearance. I hated it so much, she basically tortured me into being skinny, always styling my hair. I huff at the thought.

"We will be getting a new student who will join you on your 5th year, please welcome Mattheo Riddle" my eyes widened at Dumbledores words. Whispers started echoing in the Great hall.

"The son of you-know-who?"

"Riddle? as in Tom Riddle?"

"How can Dumbledore let him in?"

"Silence!" The whispers immediately shot down. The doors swung open and he entered. He had curly dark brown hair with chocolate brown eyes. He had a scar on his left eye. I watched the boy confidentially walk to the stool next to Dumbledore. It wasn't a surprise that he got sorted in Slytherin. He made his way to the Slytherin and sat next to a group of Slytherin boys. I hate do admit I was staring, he looked pretty handsome. I could take in his features now that he was closer. He had a sharp jawline and long lustrous lashes. I shook my head realizing I stared for to long. Finally food appeared and we all started eating. As I ate a piece of bread I wondered how Harry would react to the news. I think I'll ask him tomorrow.

"He's hot" I raised an eyebrow at Pansy's comment.

"What? You thought the same girl" I rolled my eyes. I looked at him again. He seemed to have befriended Dracos group already. Then suddenly he met my eyes a smirk visible on his face. I quickly brake the eye contact and went back to eating.

I plopped down on my bed.

"I'm so exhausted!" I let out with a scruff. Pansy chuckled.

"Don't want to know how you'll feel after we start classes" we both chuckled.

"Heard girls are already head over heels for Mattheo"

"Oh really?"

"Even if they know whose son he is?"

"I guess they can oversee that thanks to his looks" I shrugged. I put my Pyjamas on and after some catching up we decided to go to sleep.

I walked alongside Enzo to potions class. I sat next to him, chuckling at a joke he made.

"And he really did that?" I said through chuckles. Then someone sat beside me, I look to the side seeing Mattheo.

"Hey, I'm Mattheo" he said while extending his hand for me to shake.
