hey mia cara, i have a surprise for you
i thought we agreed that ur not getting me anything?
do u really think i'd listen to that?
come to the common room, i'll lead you to your gift.
i make my way down to the slytherin common room to see a very star struck theodore nott in front of me. i smile up at him as he looks at me with his tired eyes.
a sting hits my gut. a sting of sadness.
"let me blindfold you." he whispers and i nod. he grabs a velvet green blindfold and slowly ties it around my eyes before taking my hand and walking me to my gift. i feel him walk me around Hogwarts until we make it outside. an icy gust of wind hits my skin, forcing me to shiver. "it's freezing out here, theodore." i break the comfortable silence. i hear his quiet chuckle before he rubs my arms while guiding me to heat me up a little.
"this isn't your full gift but this takes you to it." he explains before gently removing my blindfold to reveal a mercedes. i look to theodore and see him dangling the keys from his pointer finger.
"you're joking. oh my god! theodore you didn't." i ramble before jumping up and giving him a tight hug. "it's all yours, cara mia." he responds into my ear. i look up at him with an uncontrollable smile tugging at my lips. "thank you so much, oh my gosh." i hug him again but more gentle. he swiftly places the keys into my palm before ushering me in.
once i get in, i see multiple bags filled with gifts and a bouquet of roses. i look up at him in disbelief. "happy birthday mia cara." he smiles before sitting next to me.
