Having Strong Feelings

It’s been a few weeks and things have been very busy at the hotel. Which was actually a good thing since we’re bringing in a lot of new sinners and demons from all over Hell.

One day, I was in the kitchen making patty melts with french fries and broccoli salad. I added the salad to make it healthier since I didn't want to make something too greasy or overpowering. For dessert, I decided to make some cookies. But for some reason, they keep on disappearing.

But that wasn’t until I felt like I was being watched. Again. I looked around the kitchen realizing the shadows were there. Once I turned around, Alastor was standing right in front of me.

“Oh my!” I said.

“Hello my dear~” he smirked.

“H-Hi.” I stuttered. I was feeling my face heat up as he was standing so close to me.

His voice came out a smooth delicate texture speaking. “Is everything all right here in the kitchen?” he asked me.

I felt my fur stand on end. The way he talks to me was making me think like crazy. I swear I could smell the blood on him. But for some reason, it seemed calming to me.

I smiled at him. “Everything's all right in the kitchen. It’s been a long day, but it's better than nothing. I'm just making sure that these orders don't get backed up.”

“Not a problem.” he said as he looked at me.

I felt his eyes gazing at me and I looked down feeling weak to my legs. I was trying to stand my ground and be a mature adult without squealing like a little piglet. I felt my knees getting weaker by the minute. And he was just standing there. It was making my heart pound like crazy.

‘What is this feeling?’ I thought to myself as I felt my heart sinking down to my stomach.

I took in a deep breath and looked back up at him. “Alastor sir you're feeling dressed today.”

“Am I?”

“Yes.” I nodded. “With that lovely smile, you have keep it up. It’s very charming.” I said as I felt my cheeks getting warmer by saying that. But it was the truth.

~Alastor's POV~

The way she said that made my heart pound out of my chest. ‘My goodness. What is this feeling with this mysterious woman in front of me?’ I thought to myself.

I felt my hands getting sweaty and my throat getting dry. Within every inch I'm around her, I was smelling her luscious scent. It was very ravishing to me.

It was coming straight to the point where I just want to taste that meat off of her. But it was nothing to be too harsh about. She seemed like a fragile little thing. But maybe over time I can make her mind.

“Well then, it was a pleasure my dear. I’ll let you get back to work.” I said as I was leaving the kitchen.

~Rachel’s POV~

After I saw him leave the kitchen, I felt relieved that I could breathe. Each and every time that I'm around him more and more, everything falls into place. I would feel like I can't breathe and my legs are weak. I sighed. These feelings were so strange through my heart and mind. And it was distracting me while I was trying to clean the dishes.

Seriously, I couldn’t believe it. I can’t think about that smile on his face. And that voice of his coming out like a smooth radio broadcast man. I remembered listening to the radio with my grandma back then. And it felt like a memory each time he speaks. I was still thinking about that charming man while I was trying to put the dishes away, but alas I slipped and ended up dropping the dishes all around me.

“Ahh!” I screamed as all the dishes fell. Not only that, but I’ve cut my finger in the process. “Shit!” I cursed to myself.

I realize that I was bleeding my true color. And I was afraid that somebody would found out. I knew that I would be dead. Suddenly, I heard somebody come in.

It was Alastor, and he seemed so worried. He ran over to me. “My goodness Rachel, are you alright?!” he said as he bent down on his knees.

“I-I’m sorry. I-I didn’t mean to do this… it was an accident!” I said as I felt the heat rising up on my cheeks.

“It’s okay dear.” he said as he helped me up and he was also making sure that I was okay. To be honest, I was shocked that a sinner like him actually cared. I realized that he was holding my hand.

Then I heard him gasp. “I-Impossible…” he realized that my blood wasn't red, it was gold.

I got scared and pulled away. I was feeling myself getting scared. Since he's a sinner and I was a fallen angel, I knew that I was done for. I looked away, thinking that I was gonna get killed. But I felt something on my hand and looked back at him. I looked at him and he was mending my finger.

“There we go. All better.”

“Uhh…” I blushed.

“No worries. It was an accident.” he said as he snapped his fingers and his shadows were cleaning the mess I made.

“Whoa.” I looked up at him to see that he was still smiling.

“Need a hand my dear?” he asked me as he offered me his hand.

“Y-Yeah.” I said as I held his hand and he helped me up. I felt his hands on mine and I felt more warm. My heart was pounding, my head was spinning, and the feeling was strong. I wanted all of it to stop. But strangely, it didn't.

“There now my dear. Dont cry.” he said as he used his handkerchief to wipe my tears away.

“Umm, thanks.” I said.

I realized how close he was next to me. I felt like my woman nature was nearly a few inches from him. I wanted to touch every inch of him. I wanted to know every secret and every story about him. He was so kind and gentle with me at that moment.

“Why are you so flustered my dear?” he chuckled.

I blushed red. “I-It’s an angel thing. I better get back to work.”

“Very well my dear. Do be careful.”

“I-I will.” I said. After I said my apologies once more, I shook his hand and got back to work.

God this is so embarrassing. Somebody kill me, right now. These feelings for the Radio Demon were really getting to me.
