"What?!" Elena and I frowned.
"That's not fair!" I pouted. "Why not?"
"Because how are you going to make it to your photoshoots if your at school?" Leah answered as she crossed her arms.
"Uhh... You could pick us up from school, duh." Elena answered for me.
"... But your still not going." Leah stated again.
Time to do my puppy eyes...
"Please Leah!! Pleeeeeeeaase" I begged with my puppy eyes that no one ever says no too.
I look to the side to see Elena with her own puppy eyes.
I smirk inside knowing she is going to say we can go to school. In 3.. 2.. 1.. NOW!
"Ugh, fine, I guess you can go to school. But you better not miss any photoshoots." Leah warned.
Squealed in delight with Elena and gave her a high five.
My mum smiled and announced, "I'm going to get you enrolled to a high school, maybe the one our neighbour's daughter is going to."
And she walked off with Leah.
Elena and I looked at each other cautiously, we both H.A.T.E the neighbour's daughter. She used to bully Elena and I before we became models, even though it was a long time ago.
Oh well... I think we can handle her... Somehow..
"Well... Let's get shopping!" Elena squealed pulling me out of my house and shoving me into her car.
I groaned knowing how painful shopping with Elena can be. But it's worth it.
She started the car and turned the radio on.
As Elena started driving, I heard someone mention my name on the news.
I turned it higher and listened.
"Crystal Heart rocked last nights photoshoots! Don't you think so Bob?" The news dude asked cheerfully.
"Yes Dave, she did and excellent job! She is one of my favourite models -----" I smirked watching Elena jealously turning off the radio.
"We are here." She grumbled.
"Come on! Cheer up, we are going shopping! Your favourite thing ever." I cheered.
I hurried out the car and pulled Elena out too.
"Ugh fine.. Do you want to get food first or go buy clothes first?" She asked.
"Clothes." I answered simply, knowing that it's better to save food for last.
"Ok, let's go... To the wig shop!" She stated happily, and strutted her way to a wig shop.
I followed closely behind sighing a breath of relief knowing that she got over what happened in the car.
I entered the wig shop with Elena without anyone noticing that we were the actual famous models.
All thanks to our amazing sunglasses.
A wave of a type of perfume my mum wears -that I absolutely hate- came flying right into my poor nostrils.
I immediately started choking since the smell was so strong and horrible. I blocked my nose with my two fingers and held my breath.
How am I going to breath then?
My scarf! Good thing I brought it with me!
I started to breath normally into my random orange scarf.
I then realise that Elena was laughing at me the whole time!
How can she even stand this awful smell?
"Crystal! I was trying to get your attention the whole time! But you were too busy doing something else!" Elena giggled.
"Have you found some wigs yet?" I grumbled under my scarf trying to change the subject.
"Uh.. Yeah." She held up two wigs.
One was a wavy strawberry blonde wig, and the other one was a really curly black wig.
"Which one do you want?" I ask Elena.
"I uhh.. Want the strawberry blonde one. But then I know you've always wanted strawberry blonde hair instead of brunette.. So.. I'll take the--" I interrupted her before she could say anything else.
"It's okay Elle. I'll take the black wig. Don't worry." I reassured her still covering my mouth and nose with my scarf.
"Ugh, you know I hate it when you call me that!" She complained.
"That's what you get for laughing at me." I grumbled. "Let's go buy this and leave this stinky place."
We walked to the lady standing behind the counter.
"We would like to buy these wigs.." Elena place the wigs on the counter.
I looked at her name tag to see her name was 'Mariam'.
Hmmmm... She sounds nice..
She changed my mind when she glared at me and asked, "Why are you holding the scarf like that!? Is it because of my perfume that is the store's perfume?"
I take it back. Oh chocolate moose! The shop reeks of the rude chick! Whoops! How was I supposed to know?
"No. She has this virus.. It uh.. It's contagious.. And she doesn't... Want uh.. Other people sick too." Elena came to my rescue, by lying.
And Mariam believes the lie.
After paying for the wigs I finally take a deep breath of fresh air. Breath in. Breath out. Breath in. Breath ou-- *ring ring*
Elena's phone starts ringing.
She answers and all I hear is a few 'yeahs' and 'mmm hmmm' and 'totally'.
And she finally hung up.
She gave me a huge smile, "Leah has all the fake pimples and old, baggy, nerdy, clothes ready! Oh yeah! And the fake nerd glasses too! We start in two days!"
"YES!" I cheered excitedly!
I wonder if there is going to be any hot guys in the school..
Stop thinking about guys, think about education and friends first, and the incoming photoshoots! My inner voice argued with me.
I know, don't worry about me, I know I'm weird.
"Time to eat the food now" I announced.
"Hmm.. Starbucks?" Elena suggested.
"Okay, let's go."
At least shopping with Elena wasn't that bad!
