Chris and Sam were almost to the lodge, they found Josh waiting for the others about a minute back, now they are walking and talking.

"Man, feel like this mountain gets bigger every time I climb it." Chris said.

"Oh yeah, huh? Feels the same to me." Josh responded.

"Oh come on, you grew up here. It probably feels like it's shrinking."

"I guess that's true."

Chris dug into his pocket and grabbed his phone, holding it up a little for Josh to see.

"When you gonna install some cell towers up here? I'm getting withdrawals already."

"Well- you gotta spare million hanging around and I'll fix you right up." Josh joked.

"Funny you should say that... Ah I think I left it in my other jacket." Chris followed.

The group made it to the entrance of the lodge, seeing Ashley and Matt sitting on the steps, Matt stood up upon seeing Josh but didn't wave, he just paced around. Meanwhile Ashley seemed kind of quiet.

"Hey guys.. get up here okay?" Josh started.

"You know, more or less. Good to see you." Ashley responded.

"You alright, Matt?" Josh asked.

"I'm fine-"

Matt clearly isn't feeling the best, but nobody knew what was wrong. Only Ashley knew this secret.

An eerie feeling admitted from the forest, nobody thought much about it. But something was watching them, somebody.

Chris and Josh walked up the steps, and turned to talk for a second.

"Yo! We gonna get things started here?"

"Yeah man!"

Chris thought for a conversation starters, his mind landing on drama.

"So," Chris whispered, "Matt and Emily are together now?"

"So it seems."

"Whats Mike think of that?"

"Pfft- im sure he has his hands full.. you know him."

Josh stood by the front door as he twisted the know to get it open, no avail came after a few turns unsuccessfully led to the door still being shut.

Chris walked behind Josh, peeking over his shoulder.

"Is it iced?"

"Damn it.. what else can we do?"

"Maybe another way in?"

"There are a milion ways in, They're just all locked." Josh stated.

"Surely there's like.. a door or window we could 'get open' nearby?"

"Woah.. are you suggesting we break in?"

"I mean- it's not breaking In if you own the place right?"

"Not if I don't report you."

"I.."

"Lead the way, man!"

Chris walked down the stairs with Josh, just walking past Ashley. He stopped to say hi for a brief moment.

"Hey, Ashley!" Chris greeted.

"Hey, Chris!"

"So.. it's good to be back, right?"
