Patiently waiting for someone special
Hoping for love that's yet to come
But sometimes I wonder
Will I ever find true love?
People say true love is rare
Been unlucky in love, I know for a fact,
My chances are extremely low
But a flicker of hope remains within
Maybe there's someone out there
for me, someone who
makes efforts to make me smile
Someone who'll always be there for me
In my problems and hardships
The one who cherishes me effortlessly
But still I wonder, will I ever find true love?
Or I'll have to settle for less?
Settle for someone who makes
hollow promises and shows fake affection
Someone who takes me for granted
We can't change destiny they say,
Maybe I don't want that,
but maybe I'll get tired of dating
wrong people and getting heartbroken
that I'll give up on love
Maybe I'll never find true love
And that's my biggest fear
