“One track mind, One track heart. If I fail I'd fall apart” This is how I describe my life since grade 1. A life of an academic achiever is hard. All I wanted is to make my parents proud. Kadiri mga may rs and lovelife. I want to be a rich single tita paglaki. That was my mindset since I was a kid. Pero it changed noong nakatungtong na ako sa JHS.

Damnit, bat kasi ampogi niya? Isip ni Lei habang nakatingin siya kay Vincent habang naglelesson sa harap si Ma'am Pernia.
Lei? Hui! Bigla akong nawala sa aking pagdadaydream as I heard Kassandra's voice sa tabi ko.
Kanina ka pa nakatulala diyan, may pinapakopya na si ma'am hoy! Dagdag ni Kassandra at binatukan ako sa ulo.
Panira ka talaga eh noh? Sabi ko ng pabiro as I looked at Vincent for the last time before focusing sa class. A few minutes later, tumayo na si Ma'am Pernia sa kaniyang kinauupuan and grabbed her bag.
Okay class, I hope you understood our lesson for today. Goodbye and thank you. Ma'am Pernia said as she smiled while everybody in the class stood up.
Goodbye and thank you Ma'am Pernia! The class greeted before sitting again as Ma'am Pernia left. The class became noisy, yung halos maging palengke na sa sobrang ingay. Suddenly, they all went silent, pumasok na pala kasi si Ma'am Samson. Our T.L.E. teacher.
Goodmorning class. Bati ni Ma'am Samson before placing her laptop sa desk.
Goodmorning Ma'am Samson. Everbody greeted while standing up before sitting back down again. Ma'am discussed about embroidery. Nakakatamad, madaming stitches na dapat kabisaduhin. Gusto ko lang maging chef, aanhin ko naman 'yan? Pero Ma'am told us that embroidery is important so that you can repair sirang clothes sa bahay. She has a point tho, kaso nakakatamad kaya. After Ma'am Samson finished talking about the lesson, it was our recess time. Pero I'll go and skip nalang to Filipino time.
Okay! Everyone, wala si Sir Brosas kaya magaattendance muna tayo. Sabihin niyo pangalan ng crush niyo kapag tinawag ko na pangalan niyo. Marjorie our president said, holding a piece of paper and a pen while shouting my classmates' name.
Vincent? Marjorie called.
Marjorie! Vincent shouted with a hint of shyness while Marjorie was standing infront of the class, smiling and blushing. Damnit, I don't know how to react doon, I just brushed it off like it was nothing, hindi naman kasi masakit. Siguro infatuated lang ako.
Leila? Tangina, it was my turn. I don't know what to say kasi I'm shy to tell them my crush. Especially nong sinabi ni Vincent na si Marjorie crush niya.
Wala! I said proudly. Atleast it was over. Marjorie continued to take attendance until it was her turn.
Si Vincent. Marjorie said while everyone in the room became noisy and shipped the both of them. Well, I didn't hear Marjorie clearly kasi mahina yung pagkakasabi niya but when my classmates started to ship Marjorie and Vincent, I knew that he was the one that Marjorie was talking about.
2nd Quarter was fast. Pero its memorable naman. Naging close ako sa iba kong classmates.
