As the evening wears on, Expunged sits in quiet contemplation, their thoughts drifting back to the day Bambari entered their lives. They reflect on the unexpected changes she brought, not just to their household, but to their own heart.

Expunged: [softly, to Bandu] Bandu, do you ever think about how much Bambari has changed us?

Bandu looks up from his book, intrigued by the solemn tone in Expunged's voice.

Bandu: [curiously] What do you mean, Expunged?

Expunged: [pausing to gather their thoughts] I mean... before Bambari came along, I never thought of myself as the parental type. I was always so focused on chaos and mischief, never considering the idea of being responsible for someone else. But now... now I can't imagine our lives without her.

Bandu's eyes widen in realization as he listens to Expunged's confession.

Bandu: [grinning] You mean you're happy we brought Bambari home?

Expunged: [nodding, a smile tugging at their lips] I'm more than happy, Bandu, and I wanted to thank you for finding her. She's brought so much light and warmth into our lives. I never knew I was capable of caring for someone like this. I was so unsure at first when you said you wanted to look after her, but now that we did, I'm glad I didn't say no.

Meanwhile, Bambari, who had been quietly playing in the corner, overhears their conversation. Tears well up in her eyes as she listens to Expunged's heartfelt words.

Bambari: [softly, her voice trembling] Parent Expunged... Uncle Bandu...

Bandu and Expunged turn to see Bambari standing there, her eyes shining with emotion.

Bandu: [quietly, to Expunged] I think she heard you.

Bambari: [tearfully] I'm so grateful for both of you. You've given me a home and a family, and... and you've changed my life in ways I never thought possible.

Expunged's heart swells with love and pride as they look at Bambari, their eyes glistening with tears of their own.

Expunged: [emotionally] Bambari... you've changed our lives too, in more ways than you can imagine. We're so lucky to have you as a part of our family.

And as they come together in a heartfelt embrace, the bond between them grows even stronger, solidified by the love and gratitude they share for each other.

Expunged, touched by Bambari's story and her newfound sense of belonging, decides to take a step that will solidify their bond even further. The next day, they approach Bambari with a proposal that catches her completely off guard.

Expunged: [softly] Bambari, I've been thinking... Since you see me and your uncle as your family, and we feel the same about you... how would you feel about making it official?

Bambari: [confused] Official? What do you mean?

Expunged: [smiling] I mean... what if I legally adopted you? So that you're not just my daughter in spirit, but in name as well.

Bambari's eyes widen in shock, her hand flying to her mouth as tears well up in her eyes.

Bambari: [emotionally] Are you serious, Parent? You want to adopt me?

Expunged: [nodding] Yes, Bambari. If you're okay with it, I would be honored to officially be your parent.

Bambari's heart swells with emotions she's never experienced before. She used to believe that she didn't need anyone, that she could survive on her own. But now, she realizes how wonderful it is to be a part of a family, to have people who care about her and want to make her a permanent part of their lives.

Bambari: [tearfully] Yes, Parent... I would love that more than anything.

Expunged gathers Bambari into another tight embrace, tears of joy streaming down their cheeks.

Expunged: [softly] Welcome to the family, officially, my dear daughter.

Bambari clings to Expunged, feeling a sense of warmth and love unlike anything she's ever felt before. She may have thought she didn't need anyone, but now, she knows that having a family is the most wonderful thing in the world.

Bambari, Bandu, and Expunged, now officially a family, spend the rest of the day celebrating their new bond, knowing that they will always be there for each other, no matter what challenges life may bring.
