As autumn arrives, the trees in the backyard begin to shed their leaves, creating a colorful carpet of red, orange, and yellow. Bambari's eyes light up with joy as she watches the leaves fall, eagerly diving into the piles and tossing them into the air.

Bandu: [laughing] Looks like someone's having fun!

Bambari: [grinning] I love autumn, Uncle Bandu! The leaves are so pretty!

Expunged watches from the porch, a smile playing on their lips at the sight of Bambari's excitement.

Expunged: [calling out] Be careful, Bambari! Don't get lost in the leaves!

Bambari: [laughing] I won't, Parent! I promise!

As the days pass, Bambari notices something else changing in the backyard—the apple trees are beginning to bear fruit. She excitedly rushes over to them, marveling at the sight of the ripe apples hanging from the branches.

Bambari: [excitedly] Look, guys! Apples!

Bandu: [smiling] Yeah! Why don't you pick some, Bambari? We can make pie with them!

Bambari eagerly sets to work, carefully selecting the best apples she can find and presenting them to Bandu and Expunged with pride.

Bambari: [proudly] Here you go, guys! The best apples for the best apple pie!

Bandu and Expunged exchange a knowing glance, touched by Bambari's gesture.

Expunged: [smiling warmly] Thank you, Bambari. Let's make that apple pie together, shall we?

And so, the three of them spend the afternoon baking together, the scent of cinnamon and apples filling the air.

After enjoying the delicious apple pie, Bambari begins to feel a strange sensation in her throat. She coughs lightly, rubbing at her throat as she looks at Bandu and Expunged with concern.

Bambari: [worriedly] My throat feels weird... like it's itching or something.

Bandu and Expunged exchange a concerned glance, realizing that Bambari may be having an allergic reaction, as her symptoms were similar to Bandu's if he were to have a reaction.

Expunged: [softly] Bambari, do you know if you're allergic to anything? It can't be apples, I've seen you have apples before... Do you think it could be the cinnamon?

Bambari: [surprised] I didn't know... I've never had cinnamon before... That might be it...

Bandu looks at Bambari with sympathy, knowing how it feels to have allergies that can cause discomfort.

Bandu: [comfortingly] It's okay, Bambari. I have allergies too, ones that can hurt me if I'm not careful. We'll take care of you.

Expunged quickly retrieves some allergy medication from the cabinet, handing it to Bambari.

Expunged: [gently] Bandu's right, that's why we never keep peanuts, bananas or chocolate in the house. Anyway, here, take this. It should help with the itching.

Bambari takes the medication, feeling relief as the itching in her throat subsides. She looks up at her uncle and parent with gratitude, touched by their understanding.

Bambari: [softly] Thank you, guys. I'm sorry for the trouble, and if I scared you.

Bandu: [smiling warmly] It's no trouble at all, Bambari. We all have things we need to be careful of. You're part of our family, and we'll always take care of you.

As they sit together, Bambari feeling grateful for the care and understanding of her new family, she realizes that she's truly found a place where she belongs, with people who will always look out for her.
