Suzune POV

Suzune went and met with her Brother.

Manabu: I didn't expect to see you here.

Suzune: Brother I've made it to Class A like I said I would.

Manabu: I can see that you have.

Suzune: Brother I...

Manabu: You've done well so far. You've begun to open yourself up to others. You're on the path to returning to your true self. I'm very glad.

Suzune: Well... this isn't sounding like you at all.

Manabu: And what would sound like me exactly? For all our years you've only ever seen my grades and popularity. You've blinded yourself from the person I truly am.

Suzune: I know but it's because I've been desperately trying to catch up to you. Because you're my goal.

Manabu: I'm your goal? And what of Ayanokoji?

Suzune: He's amazing. I really think he's the only person I could see matching you in anything. Which is even more the reason for me to try and catch up to you.

Manabu: I'm sorry to say that while catching up to me isn't out of the question. Catching up to Ayanokoji is impossible.

Suzune: Wait are you saying that he's...

Manabu: It seems my title of Best Student is soon going to be overtaken.

Suzune is in shock.

Manabu: I wished to compete with him in this Festival but I fear I won't be able to observe much of his ability.

Suzune: What do you mean?

Manabu: He scored perfect 100s across the board while I scored an average of 90 across the board.

Suzune: It's just 10 points though. The difference isn't a lot.

Manabu: You're mistaken. I got 90s because that's all I was capable of. Ayanokoji got 100s because that was the limit of the tests given to him.

Suzune: You're saying.

Manabu: This school isn't capable of measuring his ability.

Suzune: Just who is he?

Manabu: I don't know.

Manabu begins to leave.

Suzune: Wait...

Manabu stops.

Suzune: Ayanokoji-Kun is participating in the 100-meter relay race.

Manabu smirks.

Manabu: Thank you Suzune. Tell him I'll be there.

Kiyotaka observed as Ryuen's Class D and Class C fought it out. Ryuen used every dirty tactic he knew. Class D finally knew a resounding victory. Class B fought to protect their allies but wasn't able to save them.

Kiyotaka: All of it going to plan huh.

Suzune returned.

Suzune: I sent your message.

Suzune observed him more closely.

Kiyotaka: You're staring you know.

Suzune blushed as she looked away.
