—————————————————————————————————————Kiyotaka POV
Kiyotaka entered the bus as he sat down when a girl with black hair and a very composed demeanour caught his eye and his heart skipped a beat. She had a slender figure that hid her surprisingly well-built physique and raven black hair. Even though Kiyotaka didn't have much experience with women he felt such a beauty couldn't possibly be a common thing in this wide world. It was like seeing the finished work of an Artist. The piece was beautiful yet modest in its charms. Little did he know that her personality would contrast with this to quite a degree.
Kiyotaka- Huh? That was strange. That's never happened before. I wonder what's going on with me? Maybe I should get a check-up.
She was reading a book. He had been planning to read that one before the White Room had been shut down temporarily.
Kiyotaka- She's very beautiful. Wait I'm staring. I don't want her to get the wrong idea.
Kiyotaka got up and walked over to her.
Suzune: Can I help you?
Kiyotaka: I was wondering if I could borrow that book after you're done with it?
Suzune: Asking a stranger to borrow a book is quite strange don't you think?
Kiyotaka: Oh. I haven't had a very social life because I was homeschooled you see. So I don't understand some simple social conventions. I apologize. I won't make the same mistake again.
Kiyotaka began to walk away but Suzune held out the book to him.
Kiyotaka: Um thanks but why?
Suzune: I suppose it's because you've been staring at it for the entire trip. Well, at least you have good taste.
Kiyotaka: I'm assuming you've already read it?
Suzune: Yes I have. But I want you to return it by the end of the week.
Kiyotaka: Alright.
Suzune- Most people can't finish it in a week though. Hmm, he's a strange one.
Kiyotaka: Thank you.
He began reading the book on the bus as Suzune found herself staring at him pondering as to what kind of person he was to ask a stranger on the bus to borrow a book.
Kiyotaka- She's staring at me. Should I say something? No. Let's just let her do as she pleases.
Suzune exited the bus and got to the top of the stairs when Kiyotaka stopped her handing the book over to her.
Suzune: Lost interest already have you? I suppose I was wrong about you.
Kiyotaka: I've finished. I'm returning it to you.
Suzune: You're joking right? That's over 400 pages long and we were only on the bus for 45 minutes.
Kiyotaka: I've just always been a fast reader.
Suzune: That's all well and good but did you even read it properly?
Kiyotaka: Chapter 5 Page 295. "I have no need of that woman. She has flown off with the wind and I have been washed away by the waves."
Suzune: Huh? But this edition doesn't have page numbers?
Kiyotaka opened the book in her hand to the page and pointed out the line.
Kiyotaka: Chapter 7 Page 356. "Does he not love the warm breeze of this cove or does he prefer the cruelty of the waves?"
He again pointed out the exact page and line.
