Not Your Princess

You call me your princess.
You call me daddy's little girl.
But I'm neither of those things.
I never was and never will be.

I don't even look a girl anymore.
And yet, you still call me a girl.
You still call me she instead of he.
You misgender me without realizing it.

Can't you see I'm a boy?
Can't you see I'm not your princess?
Can't you see I'm not daddy's little girl?
Can't you see I'm not a girl?

I'm not your princess.
I'm not daddy's little girl.
I'm not your little girl.
I'm not your daughter.

I'm your son.
Can't you see that?
Why is that so hard for you to understand?
