We split up again to find work. we agreed to meet up at the docks after a hour. I walked around seeing the state of the place. There would be plenty of opportunities for jobs if someone was working on fixing some of the stuff her. But sadly I couldn't find a single job offer. So I headed over to the docks a little early.

"I hope the boys had more luck than I did." I sighed as I walked. There is no way that we can make that kind of money before Morro comes to steal it. I was snapped out of my thoughts by bumping into someone.

"I'm sorry miss." The fisherman from earlier, now dry, said. "Excuse me sir but by any chance do you know off any jobs around here that a couple friends and I could take?" I asked the man. There is no harm in asking. Hopefully.

He looked at me for a second and smiled. "It actually happens I need some people to do some work right now." I started to smile myself. "Really, my friends will be here in a couple minutes if that's okay." He nodded and motioned me to follow him. "Of course, my name is Robert. But most people just call me Rob."

"My name's (Y/N)." I walked him a little way before we came to a half built dock. "I need some people to work on the dock." He said looking at the half finished work. "Last group got killed by strangle weed. Nasty stuff. I had an aunt a while back that said the stuff was cursed. Oh and please feel free to interupt me. My wife says that seem to never stop talking. Once I get going I never seem to stop, ya know. Must be a family trait. My sister and parents are the same way. Am I talking to much?" He said while picking up speed as he talked. I nodded. "By any chance is your last name Walker?" I asked. The man thought for a moment. "No but a have a cousin twice removed with that name." Makes sense.

"(Y/N)?" Cole called my name from behind me. I turned around to see all the boys standing a couple feet back. "Give me a moment Rob." I smiled at him as walked over to the guys. "I found us a job." I told them. "That man's name is Rob and he needs a little help with the dock." Sane nodded. "Good job."

We all walked over to Rob. "We are here to work." Zane said. "Oh, glad you four showed up. Even with a hundred coin a head, couldn't find anyone willing to go out there and complete the dock. That was before (Y/N) asked me." He smiled as the others started to get to work. Kai hesitated to follow suite.

"Er, I don't know, we have to work over water?" Rob shrugged, "Ain't the water you gotta be careful of. It's .the strangle weed. Grabs a hold of you, doesn't let go. But I could use a good team. How about it?" I hit Kai lightly on the shoulder. "Don't worry about okay. We won't let you fall." Kai just grunted at my words.

"Just remind yourself, after we complete this, we'll be able to buy the Scroll." We all started to get our job assignments. Kai worked the crane. Jay and Cole would lay down the wood. Zane would tell us what to do and be the hype man. I would bring would to Cole and Jay.  "Keep your eyes on the prize! Let's bring it in slowly. Come on, guys. One team, one dream!" Zane started to yell.

Which both Jay and Cole responded with a cheerful, "Hey!"

"Let's do it again!" Zane started to go out of ear shot as I got farther away for the wood. There was a sudden strong wind. Not like the constant breeze of the ocean. "He's here." I whispered to myself. I shook my head and went back to were the boys were.

I came back in time to watch Zane eat a bug accidentally. "Ew." I muttered. He started to make weird gestures he tried to cough it up. Suddenly, Zane got hit with the crane. "Zane!" I yelled to him. There is no way that he is okay.

When he got back up, something was obviously wrong. I didn't know how bad it was until he spoke. "enif m'I. gnikrow trats dna pu tilps s'teL." He was talking nonsense. Or backwards. I think backwards. "Zane I think we should take a break to fix that." I called up to him. "sdrawkcab s'eludom eciov yM." I'm going to take a guess and say he doesn't want a break.
