Broken reason (Morro x Reader)

Hey, I'm back. Sorry it took me so long to update this one. But enjoy!

As soon as his friends came close to us, Morro stepped back. Creating some space between us. But not a lot. He wrapped an arm around me. "Morro what's the plan?" I asked looking up to him. He didn't answer. Only tightened his grip on me. 

"I don't know. For now we head back to Styx and rest." He has his hide out over a bunch of water. "Aren't you a ghost?" I started to think a loud. He hummed in response as his friends got to us. "So wouldn't it be a little dangerous there for you?" 

Morro shook his head. "Not for me. For them if they ever are dumb enough." Ouch on his friends part. "Morro, Miss (Y/N). You both are safe." Archer was the first to speak. "We are fine. head back to Styx. We'll meet you there." Morro ordered them all. 

They nodded and left us alone again. "So how are we getting there?" I asked as I watch the ghost drive away. "Did you forget I can summon a dragon?" Oh please no. "Please tell me there is another way back." Maybe he want actively enjoy me being scared this time.

He smiled and summoned the dragon. When he got on, he offered me a hand. This is really just a basic repeat of what happened the first time I met him But this time I took his hand with no hesitation. "Hold on Darling."

I nodded as I wrapped my arms around him. Morro turned to me for the second before we took off. The air whipped around my face and it was getting kind of annoying. So, I rest my head against his chest. 

Why did I help Kai? Why did Lloyd say what he said? What is going to happen to me? Everyone made it very clear when I first joined that if I ever betrayed them, I was dead. 

I need to calm down, now. The landscape, focus on that. When I turned my head, I smiled at the site. It was beautiful still. It was night. I don't know how I only just noticed that. The stars danced in the sky. The moon was full and was shining brightly. It was in every way of the word, beautiful. 

It was maybe three hours of flying at about we finally got to Styx, we stopped flying before we  went into town. I looked to him in confusion. "We don't want to draw attention t ourselves, now do we." Morro smiled as he started to walk. 

I hummed and followed him. Now that it was the dead of night, the town was much more creepy. I could feel eyes on us as we walked. I stepped closer to Morro in fear. I know it was probably just me over reacting,  but I didn't feel safe. Morro seemed to not notice my uneasy and just continued to walk in front of me. 

After a couple moments, he slowed down slightly to walk next to me as we past the docks. "I see why you like night now." He pointed out into the ocean. The moon reflected off of the water beautifully. "Definitely a reason now." I muttered as I watched the water. "It's beautiful."

"I know." I glanced at him and he wasn't even looking at the water. He was looking at me already, smiling. I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Shouldn't we be heading back?" Morro sighs and offers me his hand. "We should."

I took his hand and we started to walk again. We walked in silence for about ten minutes before we came to abandoned house. It looked abandon and a place mothers would tell their children to stay away from. Morro went ahead of me and opened the door. He gestured for me to go in, smiling the whole time. 

"About time." Archer was floating in circles when we walked in. He looked annoyed. "How long does it take to fly a dragon here." He floated down to us. "We took a small detour." Morro no longer smiled and tried to show no emotion. But when he glanced at me, I could see everything he was feeling through his eyes. He was content. 

"Bansha, tell Ronin it's time he repaid us." Morro moved over to me and motioned for me to follow. 

As I did, he lead me to the floor above us. Above was a couple poorly made beds. "You've had a day. Rest." He sat down on one and gestured for me to sit next to him. I followed and sat next to him.
