Last Chapter!

It wasn't that long until Morro was called away by Archer. The full moon cased light across the ocean. It looked right out of a painting. A painting that want to stare at for the rest of my life. But it's hard to admire the beauty of the night when you know a fight is coming.

There is no way that the boys aren't coming to fight. I know at least one of them won't actively try to kill me at least. But that won't save me from Kai. I have made my grave, now I have to sleep in it.

Sighing, I got up and wondered into the town. I haven't gotten much of a chance to explore the place since the start of this whole mess. Walking around and seeing not a single living person was strange. Everyone is hiding.

"Miss!" A voice whispered out from my side. There are a bunch of boxes and peaking out just barely was a girl.

"Yes?" I walk closer to the girl and to my surprise, it was Violet. "What are you doing here." I could feel my fear for her start to kick in. If any ghost other than Morro sees her. I don't really want to think about it.

Violet stood up out of the box to reveal the bruise that laced her arms and neck. "My mom." She looked about to seconds away from crying. "She w-was trying to protect m-me a-a-and-." As her words stumbled out, I picked her up. As much as my body screamed at me. I don't care, she is under my care now.

"I'm so sorry." I whispered and I slowly started to walk back to the pawn shop. It's the only place I can think of that's close and safe. Maybe it won't matter, maybe it will.

As soon as we reach the pawn shop Morro comes out along with Bansha. He looks at me and then Violet a couple times before jerking his head to the side to signal Bansha away. "Were did you get a kid? Is there something you haven't told me?"He half smiles as he comes a little closer.

Violet hides her self in me as much as she can. Seeing as she probably just saw her mother being killed by ghost's, maybe this wasn't my best idea ever.

"Hey, it's okay. He's a good guy." I crane me neck slightly to whisper to her. She looks up and then to Morro and gives a small nod. "Her mother. She's um." I can't think of a way to put this right now. Maybe her mother isn't dead. But I don't really want to say anything around Violet.

Morro small smile disappears in an instant and nods. "Stay inside. Both of you. It's about to get ugly." The ninja are here. No doubt about it now.

"Be safe." I know he'll be fine. He saw his future. He will come out of this alive. I know it.

"I will." Morro smiles at me before leaving. I carry Violet inside. She's still shaking as we walk upstairs. I know there is a blanket. There has to be. After a minute are two, Violet is in a handful of blankets and squeezing my waist tightly as we listen to the talk. I can hear it and happily no ones voice. That means none of them are close yet.

"I will protect you, I promise." I hug the poor girl back. this seems to be a never ending waiting game.

That was until I heard the door downstairs open and slam shut. Violet lets out a small yelp and hides herself in me again. I will protect her. "Violet, I promise I'll be right back." Slowly, I get myself out of her grip and steal a dagger from Morro's stash. I'm sure he won't mind.

Walking downstairs, I could feel every ounce of my blood rushing through me. Please let it not be any of the ninja. Please let it be a ghost. I can handle a ghost.

Ronin. It was Ronin. "(Y/N), there you are." He gives me a smile as soon as he sees me. "I was looking for you outside and figured Morro would have you tucked away."
