Finally he was here. After all that time spent away he was here and so was his savior.
The male turned around instantly as if noticing his presence. Curious eyes suddenly turned dark as they graced over his figure. He knew he didn't look well, he knew what his condition must be.
His mysterious dream took long strides towards him, coming to stand right in front of him. Dark eyes casting over his features as he cupped his cheeks in his large hands that felt like silk against his skin. The ones that touched him in reality only left pain in their wake but these ones were like a breath of fresh air.
"What happened to you?"
The bruise was gone but so was the life in his eyes. In the week Taehyung had last seen the boy he had changed drastically. His pale skin had become even more so, he looked sickly. His eyes were sunken in and his cheek bones protruding showed the clear loss of weight.
His gut swarmed with unfiltered rage.
At first when Taehyung woke up from the last time he never wanted to come here again. He didn't want the boy to mess with his head or his heart anymore. He was a distraction therefore he busied himself with work and limited his sleep. After two days he grew with want and longing, just once he wanted to see the boy and hear his voice again. His irritability grew with every day since then due to not seeing him. His dreams were blank and a mass emotion of nothingness was filling him.
The angel wasn't a distraction he had deduced after the long painstaking week that had passed. He felt guilty in thinking that way, of wanting to never come here again. The emotions that were being inflicted on him were unknown and felt overbearing. Never before was anyone able to abstract this type of feeling out of him. But he knew if he sat by and did nothing, that if he never saw the boy again he'd be forever living in guilt.
His conversation with his hyung a day ago hung in the air around him.
(Flashback)
With every day that passed and not entering this alternate reality and seeing his broken angel he found himself walking into Jin and Namjoons house.Letting himself in having a key he quickly noted the silence that followed around the rooms. Jin's car was in the drive so he knew he had to be home, there was only one place he could be.
The office room door was closed but he didn't bother to knock as he entered. His hyung sat behind his desk with a pair of spectacles sitting on the bridge of his nose as he looked down at a stack of papers before him.
Jin startled when he entered but Tae ignored him and made his way to the little bar cart instead. He poured himself a drink and settled down in one of the chairs and let his head fall back, closing his eyes.
"Tae? You ok? Work stressing you?"
Work? That was the least of his worries for now.
It was a pair of galaxy eyes that the stars had fallen from that was doing him in.
"Hyung? Is it possible to be in love with someone you've never met?"
"Why do you ask? Are you in love with someone? Who?"
The ice cubes clinked together as he swirled the glass in his hand. "Hard to say...but I think if we were to meet outside of my dreams, I'd do anything to see him smile"
It was hard getting that question out. His tongue felt heavy, filled with lead as it formed the words. Love and him? But what else was he feeling if it weren't that? In just a short amount of time his entire world had tilted and he struggled with finding a solution. All it took was three meetings, three meetings and he was hooked.
