It had been a week, seven days of absolute serenity.

Jungkook slept comfortably all through the night. At first he was terrified of nightmares that were possibly to come, but none did. He thought it had to do with the male sleeping next to him.

At first Taehyung suggested that he could leave Jungkook to his room while he would take a guest room. For some reason Jungkook didn't like that idea. So he asked Tae to stay, to sleep beside him and he did. Only when he woke up the next morning wrapped in the elders arms, he could only smile.

He knew it was too soon, for what he had gone through, to be sleeping comfortably without a worry in another's arms but he only felt safe and protected. Taehyung was his dream and he'd never cross a line or hurt him. Jungkook believed it with all his heart.

He liked to think that Taehyung kept all the bad dreams away. The elder steadied his heart and his mind, all negative thoughts ceased to exist as he lied in his arms. Therefore, every night he'd curl against the elder and fall into a deep sleep.

After these seven days of good rest and a full stomach, his weight and complexion were almost back to normal. The bruises gone now as well as the discoloration under his eyes. He had also taken up Taehyung's offer to talk to someone, maybe a professional. Jimin was also going to speak with someone under Taehyung's request.

Speaking of Jimin, he and Jungkook had grown close throughout the week. They didn't talk much at first, just grew comfortable in the silence of watching tv together. Jimin had requested some time off of work to recover and to also help Jungkook. It was in that silence that a bond was formed and soon they were laughing and talking idly about anything and everything.

Jin was different. Although the older male was nice and accepting, the two had only interacted a couple of times. It was mainly to check on his ankle, which was healing nicely. He barely felt it anymore. He figured he and Jin would grow close though, it was just a feeling he had.

He had learned a lot about Taehyung in the days he'd spent here. The elder had opened up and told him about his childhood, of what had happened to his mother and then how he came under the care of Jin's uncle. When the story was shared Jungkook cried, listening to Taehyung recount his memories struck a chord in him. He didn't like imagining his dream hyung as a child going through what he did. From his father's abuse to his mother's suicide, it was heartbreaking.

Maybe that was why or how Tae turned out to be who he was today.

They had a long talk about Jungkook's comfortability with what Taehyung did as a profession. It was a no brainer that the younger did feel uncomfortable about it, he had never liked blood or violence. He told Taehyung that he'd never judge him or hold it against him, he only asked that Taehyung kept that part of his life to himself. That if he were in the room he'd rather not know of the details of what the elder had done that day.

That conversation was done after Jungkook asked what he was to do now, or after the Cho situation was resolved. He wondered how long he should stay, obviously he wanted to finish his studies but now he was homeless and wasn't sure how he was supposed to pick up the pieces of his broken life.

When he voiced his concerns to his dream hyung, he only received silence in return. Taehyung wasn't too happy, told him that his home was now his. That he was to live here and Taehyung would take care of everything. At first he was unsure of accepting the offer, it was too good to be true, also he kept thinking that he was taking advantage of Taehyung's kindness. With much reassurance from the elder he decided to not think about it too deeply, in the end he said yes. Knowing if he declined the offer, if he left Taehyung, that he'd forever hate himself for it.
