As lunchtime approached, Naruto rose to his feet and made his way back inside the house, accompanied by Yoosung, Gilyoung, and Dokja. The events of the day weighed heavily on his mind, but he chose to keep the details of the seal to himself, not wanting to burden his companions with unnecessary worry.
As evening descended upon them, Naruto felt a strange tug at his senses, a connection that beckoned him outside. Sensing something amiss, he approached Dokja and expressed his desire to investigate further. Concerned for Naruto's safety, Dokja insisted on accompanying him, with Yoosung and Gilyoung following closely behind.
As they ventured into the fading light of dusk, Naruto's senses heightened, guiding him towards an elusive presence. After a brief search, his gaze fell upon a peculiar sight—a raccoon-like creature, its size comparable to that of a dog. Naruto's heart skipped a beat as recognition dawned upon him—it was none other than Shukaku, the One-Tail beast.
Driven by a mixture of curiosity and concern, Naruto moved forward, intent on approaching the enigmatic creature. However, his progress was halted by a firm hand on his shoulder. Startled, Naruto turned to find Dokja standing beside him, his expression grave with worry.
"What are you doing, Naruto?" Dokja inquired voice was laced with concern and curiosity.
Caught off guard by Dokja's unexpected intervention, Naruto hesitated for a moment before gathering his thoughts. "I... I think I know the creature" he began, his tone tinged with uncertainty. "I just wanted to check it out."
Dokja's gaze softened slightly, his concern evident as he studied Naruto's expression. "We understand, Naruto," he reassured him gently
As Naruto approached Shukaku, Dokja hesitated but eventually stepped back, trusting Naruto's judgment. Naruto called out to Shukaku, his voice carrying a sense of familiarity that resonated with the One-Tail beast.
Shukaku's expression softened as he recognized Naruto's voice, his suspicions put to rest. Just as he was about to inquire further, Kurama's voice chimed in, his voice echoing within Naruto's consciousness. "What's got you so worked up, Shukaku?"
Startled by Kurama's sudden appearance, Shukaku's expression shifted from annoyance to bewilderment." Kurama, why are you here?" he demanded, his voice tinged with suspicion.
Kurama chuckled softly, his tone dripping with mischief. "Brat, I was always with Naruto" he replied cryptically, his eyes gleaming with curiosity. "But tell me, why the grumbling?"
Shukaku hesitated for a moment, his demeanor shifting from hostility to reluctant honesty. "These pesky humans keep bothering me," he admitted begrudgingly, his tone petulant yet resigned.
Kurama's laughter echoed in the vast expanse of Naruto's mindscape, his amusement evident. "Well, how about a change of scenery?" he suggested slyly, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Would you like to accompany Naruto here?"
Shukaku's initial reluctance melted away, replaced by a sense of begrudging acceptance. "Fine," he grumbled, his voice laced with resignation. "But don't expect me to behave."
Back in the physical realm, Dokja, Yoosung, and Gilyoung observed the unfolding scene with a mixture of curiosity and concern. From their perspective, it appeared as though Naruto and the raccoon were engaged in a silent standoff, their gazes locked in an unspoken exchange.
However, their apprehension quickly turned to surprise as they witnessed Naruto's hand gently patting Shukaku's head. A soft glow enveloped them both, casting an ethereal light upon the scene.
Returning to their side, Naruto beamed with delight, introducing Shukaku to Dokja, Yoosung, and Gilyoung as his newfound friend. Despite their initial reservations, they couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth at the sight of Naruto's genuine happiness.
