This part takes place sometime before the beginning of the Fedex Story (At the same time of the last part.)
I laughed while shaking my head sadly at another one of Keefe's terrible jokes. I say 'terrible' as it was yet another joke about the oh so glorious bangs of my brother - who didn't seem very happy about but then again, when is he?
I was so glad to have such an amazing group of friends that could make me smile whenever I feel down and I took so much joy in making them happy as well. I looked around the table of them until someone caught my eye - Marella. She had her same honey blonde hair twisted in and out of tiny braids, same short slender structure and same bright ice blue eyes that seemed to sparkle in even the darkest places (damn, linh, you seem to be paying a lot of attention to marella's appearance to be able to describe in great detail what she looks like every day 😏 ... why am i being sarcastic she aint subtle 👁👄👁)- but she still somehow managed to look like the most beautiful person in the world to me. She always did. That was just Marella for you. It took me a second before I realised that she was looking at me. Me. My expression changed and I felt my cheeks turn pink. Stop that, Linh. She doesn't think of you like that. No one would anyway... I still kept my gaze on her, smiling softly and feeling my spirits rise. I tried to hide how elated I was.
Marella's eyes widened and she tried to hide her face as she quickly got up and walked out of the cafeteria, mumbling some excuse I couldn't hear. Stupid, stupid, stupid Linh! What would you do that? I sighed and poked half-heartedly at my food, feeling my spirits sink.
Ahem, ladies, gentlemen, non-binary posh people, may I present a statement?
sad linh = sad me >:(
