Naruto Uzumaki: Demon Of The Leaf

Chapter 2

Charlie smiles awkwardly as Lucifer and Naruto stare at her wearing matching grins, apparently expecting her to say something. At least, she thinks that they are.

"Uhhh... It's-" She gets cut off.

"Nice to meet you! I'm Naruto Uzumaki, Future Hokage Of Konoha, Believe It!" Naruto says, dashing towards her and extending his hand.

Charlie blinks, very confused, as she knows neither what a Hokage is not what Konoha is. "Uhhhhh, nice to meet you, too?" She says, sounding very unsure.

To her relief, Lucifer chooses this moment to intervene.

"Right, on to why I called you here to meet Naruto." Lucifer says, creating a strangely large scroll with his magic. "As you can probably tell, Naruto here is a living human. What you probably haven't guessed, though, is that he's not from earth." He says as the scroll unrolls itself and words and strange symbols start to appear inside it.

Charlie's jaw drops. "A living world that's NOT Earth!? Such a thing exists!?"

Lucifer nods. "There are countless worlds, actually. Each one has its own version of heaven as well as its own version of hell, some even have several. Naruto's world is known as The Elemental Nations, though the planet itself is named Elum. His world is unique in that it doesn't really have a hell, and people who aren't good enough to go to The Pure World, their world's version of heaven, don't experience an afterlife at all, their souls just get chucked into the void." He pauses to look at the scroll, making sure that there isn't any mistakes caused by him not paying much attention to it. Charlie takes this opportunity to process what she has just heard.

"Now, there is a reason that I'm telling you this." Lucifer says, turning his attention back to Charlie. "That being, humans of his world have a power source inside of their bodies that allows them to use various techniques, one of them being the Summoning Jutsu, which allows them to summon beings from other dimensions to their own. From what I know, using it without signing a contract with one of the various summoning clans beforehand sends them to the dimension with the summons that best suit them." He pauses, allowing Charlie to guess as to why Naruto is in hell.

"He used it and ended up here, didn't he?" She asks, causing Lucifer to give her a thumbs up.

Off to the side, Naruto is messing around with Lucifer's many magical rubber ducks, figuring out what each one does, and not paying any attention to Charlie and Lucifer's conversation.

"And, apparently when summoners sign a contract, they also usually make an exclusive summoning contract with one of the beings that they summon, making it so that they are the only ones allowed to summon them, and forming a special bond with them."

Charlie raises an eyebrow. "You want me to sign one with Naruto, don't you?"

Lucifer nods rapidly. "I'd do it myself, but boss summons can't sign exclusive summoning contracts and, as the king of hell, I will be counted as a boss summon after Naruto signs the summoning contract, which is the scroll that I'm writing." He explains. "And, since everyone I've sent to check up on you recently has said that you've been in a slump, I figured that becoming friends with Naruto would help pull you out of it."

Charlie sighs. "Fine, I'll do it. Maybe you're right."

Lucifer grins ear-to-ear. "Trust me, Charlie, you won't regret this."

After Lucifer finishes writing the summoning contract and somehow managing to pull him away from the ducks, he pulls him over to his desk and lays the contract out. Knowing that Naruto won't be able to understand it, he explains it as simply as he can.

"Basically, if you smear your blood on this line, here," he taps a blank line at the bottom of the scroll "you will be able to summon any demon exactly once. Once you have summoned that one time, you will have to make a deal with them dictating the conditions that will allow you to summon them in the future. This contract also protects your soul, making it so that they cannot take that as payment for their help. There are other things to look over, but you can do that when you're old enough to understand them, but most of them are limits on what they can ask of you when you make a deal with them." He pauses, double checking part of the contract. "There are exceptions to the 'One Summon' rule, though. You can summon as many imps or hellhounds as you want as many times as you want, so that you can use them as fodder or distractions. Or just extra muscle if you need it."

Naruto nods excitedly before, without a second thought, biting his thumb hard enough to draw blood and pressing it to the scroll just above the line.

Lucifer grins before rolling up the scroll and handing it to Naruto. "Hold on to this, for the future. For now, though, you need to talk to Charlie about something."

Naruto turns to her.

Charlie rubs her arm, apparently unsure about what she's about to say. "Right... dad called this an 'exclusive summoning contract'. Basically, if anyone else signs the contract in the future, you will still be the only person who can summon me. BUT, in exchange for that, I want you to help me with my Hotel when I finally manage to get it up and running. Uh... deal?" She asks extending her hand, a red aura emitting from it.

Naruto grins. "Deal!" He says before reaching out and grabbing her hand, sealing the deal.

"Now then!" Lucifer says, snapping his fingers and opening a portal back to the forest around Konoha. "To home you go. See you soon!"
