"It's late, go home Palak" one of my colleague said who was about to leave home but Stopped seeing me still working

I would rather stay and work for some more time than going to that big ass house which was not a home but bricks of doll house

The silence killed me, I felt too much alone that I went to my apartment and stayed with Brunda for the past 2 weeks

It's been almost a month since he went to Mumbai, I saw the fire accident news the next day and knew he would be in Mumbai but it's been 1 month since he went, or maybe he cane but I didn't know as I was staying in my Apartment

I packed my bag and sat there instead of going home, I looked from the glass window of my office, it's already dark and no traffic, it was silent, the silence I don't want

"Hello" I picked the call and waited for the other person to speak

"Where are you from 1 week?" The raspy deep voice made me stunned, he came back? When? Why- I mean- nevermind

"In my home" I said and he paused "I am in the mansion from 1 week, don't lie" he said and squeezed my eyebrows

"I don't need to lie, I am in my home now in the mansion" I said and the line went silent, I checked to see if the call was cut but no, he was still there

"Speak something" I said and he cleared his throat

"I need your help" he said and I took a deep breath, I don't know where this is going

"Call Ishika home tomorrow, I want to tell her" he said and my eyes widened, finally he got some braincells

"Oh my God, if that was the work, wait- but tomorrow is her birthday you can't spoil it Ansh" I said and he clicked his tongue

"It's eating me! More then her is disturbed me! I can't hold this inside me anymore" he said and she sighted, now it's left to him and his sister how they take this

"Okay okay, I will come to your house today-" I was about to say but was harshly cut off

"It's your house also, till you're here, it's also your house" he said and I gulped, how long? 10 more months

"Okay" I said and cut the call, I took my things and took cab towards the his- mine- our- whatever house it is

I reached and saw no one, he was in his room like usual, I went inside my room which was clean even when I was not there

I hissed when I tried to remove my shirt button, yesterday Brunda had boiled water and kept and I mistakenly spilled it on my hands, my fingers are swollen and my sweaty hands didn't help much
