Sergeant steel to the rescue

When they Riley opened the supply closet door they found ten other students hiding in there.

Quickly the others ushered them in and they asked each other the "What are you doing here?", quickly Jade and Riley recited the chain of events that had taken place in the Smith family's loving home.

There was a moment of silence. When Oliver the school's head boy started narrating what had happened to him and the others-

"As you guy know that Principal Watkins is an extremely good photographer and he teaches a class every Sunday's so all of us including some others had come to attend the class. While Principal Watkins was explaining how to use natural light and make our photos look better when out of nowhere a zombie showed up and pounced on Principal Watkins. 

His last words were - "Run kids, save yourself" We all spilt up and ran but all of stuck together and we came here to hide then around an hour later our phones started blaring an emergency alert and that is how we found out that a zombie outbreak has occurred. We were just about to come out and go look for food." Riley and Jade stared at the others in shock and just when things starting to get awkward 

Jade broke the silence by saying"Who's hungry"and immediately with the help of the others all the food items brought by Riley and Jade was wiped out.after they were done eating Audrey Riley and Jade's most hated nemesis wondered aloud-We have finished almost all the food that they had brought "I mean if  we are going to die of starvation i do not want my last meal to be Gatorade and Taki's "

"Well i hope you were not expecting a Filet Mignon with Truffle Sauce, Your Majesty"replied Liam which made Audrey turn a bright red. To which Jade replied "Hey look guys, I found a tomato" everyone burst into laughter.

 "We should not have to worry about food because on our way me and Jade found an abandoned supermarket ,which is just a block away from the school. Since there are twelve of us we can make groups of six each and one group can go and get the food meanwhile the other group can stay here and pack everything properly in case we have to be on the run. Any problems?"

The group which was going to go the supermarket included-Jess, Oliver, Riley,  Liam, Mason, Isabelle

 And the group which was going to stay at the school was- Jade, Audrey, Ava, Elijah, Xavier, Olivia. By the time they had finished it was lunch time.

While they were eating silence Ava wondered aloud "Are we gonna spend the whole apocalypse hiding in this boring supply closet which is too stuffy for 12 people to hide in here, or are we going to keep moving place to place,? Take your pick"

Just then the doorknob rattled and then the shaking stopped. Everyone in the room was stunned.Just when they thought that the threat is over the door started shaking on its hinges. After a couple kicks the door fell outwards and everybody screamed.

In the dimly lit room a voice gruff and commanding , emerged. "My name is Sergeant Steel," it declared, the authority in his tone undeniable . With a swift, but subtle gesture, he motioned for silence, the glint of his badge catching the faint light . "Shut up and listen. I work for a secret government agency called the Apex"
