A Very Awkward Dinner

Once everybody was done exploring the rooms they quickly one by one started freshening up in the huge Victorian styled bathrooms . After an hour or so Butler Thompson showed up to escort them to the dining room where all of them including Sergeant Steel. While Riley questioned Butler Thompson about what is there for dinner, Jade wondered how was Sergeant Steel ever going to find her mother, she did not realise that Mason had started walking past her. Mason's vibrant red hair and piercing green eyes make quite the impression. He's tall and athletic, moving with an easy confidence that draws people in. Once, he and Jade were an item, but now they've settled into a deep friendship. Their bond has weathered storms, evolving into something even stronger than before. While romantic feelings may have faded, their connection remains steadfast. Through highs and lows, they stand by each other, their friendship a testament to the enduring power of understanding and companionship.

"What are you wondering about Jade-blade." Startled she replied "Just wondering how is Sergeant Steel going to find my mom and how this place does not feel right i feel like just grabbing everyone and running away".  "Yea you are right this place is giving me the heebie-jeebies" 

Before Jade could give a funny reply Butler Thompson announced "Welcome to the dining hall"

Surrounded by the warm glow of the fireplace and the sounds of joyful camaraderie, the teens dashed into the room and eagerly grabbed seats around the table. With excitement in the air, they wasted no time in digging into the tantalising array of dishes spread before them. They eagerly reached for platters of roasted chicken, its golden skin crispy and fragrant, and heaped spoonfuls of buttery mashed potatoes and savoury gravy onto their plates. Freshly baked bread, warm from the oven, disappeared quickly as they slathered it with herbed butter.

Amidst animated chatter and laughter, they enjoyed bites of the colorful salad, bursting with crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and crunchy cucumbers. Dessert was not forgotten as they indulged in plates of rich chocolate cake topped with velvety ganache and fresh berries, and bowls of creamy vanilla ice cream drizzled with caramel sauce and sprinkled with nuts.

Surrounded by the warm glow of the fireplace and the sounds of joyful camaraderie, the teens savoured each bite, relishing not only the delicious food but also the precious moments spent together.While they were eating Sergeant Steel shows up and sit and slams the table bringing silence all around and says "Butler bring me my dinner " Quickly Butler rushed to the kitchen to get the Sergeant's meal. He then came back with a with a plate covered with a cloche and he put the plate in front of the Sergeant and opened it and said "Sir here is your Lobster Thermidor and here is your Sauvignon blanc and what would you  like to for dessert sir?" "I would like to have a cookie and cream mug cake which you can send to my room." Jade pissed at him for acting like that screamed at his face:

 "How on earth are you going to find my mother ,we do not even know where she is and even if she is alive you brought all of us here why ,so you can get your lobster Thermidor and mug cakes while treating your butler like  he is your slave or something, I do not know how your parents raised you but my mom has always taught me to be nice to everyone small or big . Everybody in this world deserves respect and so does Butler Thompson." 

With that Jade stood up and went back to their room her head held high.once she went to the room she quickly grabbed a soft blanket from the cabinet in which Butler Thompson had told them blankets were here, and she went and flopped down on one of the couches a bag of potato chips in hand and the to remote in an another while the blanket dragging behind her no sooner than she had got settled everybody else showed up with some snacks in their hand and joined Jade quickly they all settled themselves around the to and they decided to watch "Jumanji : Welcome to the Jungle".

Five minutes into the movie Butler Thompson showed up with mug cakes and other sweets.He was followed by a couple of other staff members also quickly Izzy paused the movie. "We would like to join you in watching this movie if you do not mind and we have bought peace offerings, pointing at the all the goodies that they had bought."Everybody looked at Jade who looked angry at first then smiled and said "the more the merrier," and quickly everyone got settled in and Izzy started the movie again.
