Tragedy

Close call

Reader's POV:

   Here I am currently sitting in someplace (idk what you call the place where you can file for adoption but meh) to process my legal adoption, wait, does this mean I'm going to be an Ubuyashiki?? huh, I never thought of that when asking Master to adopt me.

   As I saw master leaving the office with Mrs. Amane, my eyes lit up with joy as she held up papers, probably my adoption papers, I ran to them and well, hugged Mrs. Amane. She was definitely taken aback by this gesture but I was just so happy.

   "Thank you master, Mrs. Amane, for granting my favor, thank you so much", They both smiled at me, I offered to take them out to place as an act of gratitude. I bought the couple to a cat cafe, this place has well kept me with hope whenever I felt alone, it was in the nearest town from where I stayed. As we chatted, mostly me asking random things about my adoption, I didn't notice a pair of green and purple eyes staring at us.

   Just then a loud pitched voice broke our conversation, "WAAHHH!! Isn't that Master and Mrs. Amane?!! Look Shinobu-san! They're with (N/n)-san!", that voice... I quickly turned my head to the source of the voice then back at master, he smiled at me.

   Just as I was about to act like I was no one, the two Hashira's had already approached us, "Good day, Master and Mrs. Amane. May I ask what you two are doing with, well this disgrace?", I stood up and dismissed myself to my parents upon hearing that, that wretched word.

Master's POV:

   A frowned fell on my gentle face as I heard what Shinobu had said, and worried was obviously displayed on my face as my 'daughter' dismissed herself from us, "Isn't that quite a rude word to say now is it, Shinobu?", I directed my head to seemingly 'look' at her.

  "But master, it is simply the truth!", I sighed as I heard Mitsuri saying sorry for Shinobu raising he voice at me, I shook my head, "Well it isn't a great impression to my daughter to call her a disgrace now eh?", I sensed the shock from the two Hashira's, "Daughter?!!? Oh my! We really ask for your forgiveness master! Shinobu did not mean it and we didn't know anyway!"

   I giggled at the Love Hashira's explanation as the Insect Hashira had kept quite not yet processing the words that had left my mouth, "It's alright, we had adopted her just now anyways, but still, Shinobu, your words do hurt a lot, please be mindful my child", I assured them, I then signal my wife to assist me as I dismissed myself to the two young women.

3rd POV:

   "WAAHH! Shinobu-san! do you think master is going to punish us for what we've done?!?", the pinked haired woman said to her friend but Shinobu just remained to have a smile on her face and said, "No, master is not that cruel Mitsuri-san", she replied, but keeping in mind tha master's words.

   'It seemed like it did get to her a lot? did Y/n face problems within her family so as to why she was so triggered by being called a disgrace?' Shinobu shook her head from her thoughts and just continued her rest day with the Love Hashira.

Reader's POV:

   A few days after I had just been reminded of that stupid made up crime I was framed for I headed to the school Tokiya had attended to submit my adoption papers and other additional stuff, hopefully my enrolment can get approved now that my documents and requirements are complete.

   After the whole process of that I got accepted, finally! I don't know why, even though they claim that school is very hard I still wanted to go, even if they claim that I am 'smart' I wouldn't exactly stand by that.

   I headed to the market to but some of the needed supplies and uniform that were tasked for us to buy as students, soon after I finished shopping I got hungry and went to the nearby park, for some reason I was getting a very weird feeling, that feeling as if I'm being watched but I decided to put that aside as I was looking for food that I can buy so I can finally have my lunch.

   I bought some ramen and decided to sit at a nearby table, as I was eating I had gotten into some trance but quickly snapped out of it wen I was just staring at some random guy. Huh, the guy had the same school uniform as Tokiya's perhaps he also went to the school I'm about to attend?

   As I finished my ramen, I look back at the guy and noticed something, on his arm, he had some sort of arm cast, but his arm seemed alright? that's when I noticed it, that engraving... The Hokage's Symbol! That's not just some arm cast, that's the same father had and gave to Recca! Could that student be? No, but it might be him!

   When I snapped back from thinking I realized that the guy that had the arm cast was gone now, damnit! the time I might've found my brother I just had to have my guard down. But I do know something, there is a chance I might met him again, after all, he attends the same school as me.

So like in this chap it's a near encounter with your missing brother and well the news of you adoption getting out to the two hashira, wouldn't expect the Oyakata would tell them knowing that Mitsuri might get a word out or two to the organization.
