You helped as best as you could, showing Meliodas the bodies so he could get people to identify him, calculating the cost of repairment that Meliodas had to cover, and how many fees were going to be issued out. Yeah, you just helped out with the kingdom affairs, after all, your mana had drained out.

You sat down on a nearby bench in the castle's backyard. Soaking in the sun and drinking some water to relax after such a hectic day. You summon a pocket mirror to your hand to check on your neck again, it doesn't hurt anymore but to your surprise, it formed into the shape of stars. 3 exactly going diagonally on your neck, you brushed it off for now and now you noticed, Tristan was coming your way.

"Hey Tristan! You seem so much better now!"

You try to bring the mood up from the things you've both just experienced that could be close to a near-death experience. He briefly smiled at you while he took a seat next to you, looking in the direction of the sun like you, your eyes slowly dragged their way down to the horizon.

"Thank you, y/n. You did save my life today, know that?"

"I know, but with the war coming up, I'm prepared to save anyone's life no matter who or what they are"

He chuckles slightly at your words.

"Yeah, you're right. It was just like what we said when we were kids. That when we got told the story of chaos we would annihilate King Arthur and Kill chaos as a being"

"When I was also so scared to confront Lancelot for his shitty remarks at me..."

You sigh as Tristan panics at your sight, hoping that it doesn't kill the mood between the two of you.

"At least the prophecy is true, you and Lancelot are on your way to protect Britannia from chaos"

You smiled briefly at Tristan as he smiled back at you. He brings you into a tight hug as his arms wrap over your shoulders.

"Y/n, you are the best friend anyone could ever ask for. But when we're saving the world with Gaiwan and Percival, you'll always be there with Lancelot and me"

You chuckled back at him as you hugged him around his upper waist. You said thank you before he decided to depart to train as he decided to protect Liones he has to be as strong as he will ever be.

It was now nightfall. You roamed the streets having a feeling in your stomach, a pit forming telling you to not go back home just yet because something did feel complete. Something is not right. You walk around the Kingdom looking at the open diners and bars available. You weren't a drinker by no means, but with this stressful night maybe you could use one for the first time. After all, this was going to be almost a daily thing soon.

As you did so you spotted Lancelot walking around himself as he was looking around up to the moon. Despite that, he caught you staring at him. He stopped in his tracks and you stopped in your own.
