Unexpected meeting

ASHLEY'S POV

I started to dress up and slipped into something good maybe I will meet someone who will help me take my mind of Jacob.

I took my phone out and saw 10 messages of Scarlett , seems like she have already arrived here. 

As I saw her messages which said get your ass down here I m waiting from 10 minutes, as I saw this I quickly grabbed my purse and locked my door and went straight to the parking lot of the building.

And there she was standing clueless of her worth and have been crying for someone like his ex I don't know how but she always picks the wrong boy and they never treat her the way she should be treated.

I always thought that I should have been a boy I would treat her like a queen she is. She looked at me and said "Why are you standing there get your ass over here we don't have all day". Now I think that makes sense, she learned that way of her talking by her brother. And again I m thinking about him , stupid me.

She sat in her car and I sat next seat to her "What can I do when  a beautiful girl like you is in my parking lot standing like this" I said.

She looked at me and said "Go look yourself at mirror". We always do this, we say things we like about each other and also the things we don't like. 

She turned the music on and increased the volume we both loved listening to music at high volume and sing it loudly that made me relaxed and her to. Spending time with each other is all the the therapy we need.

 Currently we are listening to the weekend "blinding lights" isn't he  good, few minutes later I received a text from Jacob "Where the hell are you both going looking like that". I stared to look everywhere in search of him.

I texted him "where are you". He replied "I came to visit a friend near your flat, then I saw you and my sister leaving to somewhere". "Why are you asking this anyway ?" he texted. I replied "I thought you were following her". He replied "Do you really think of me that low"

"Who the hell are you talking to" Scarlett said. Then I noticed she had turned the volume down and said "I just received a text from a boy that has been annoying ". That is entirely true he is annoying more than anyone could know. He simply loves annoying me, I have seen the way he talks to other girls for them he behaves like a gentleman its just me he doesn't like.

 "Do you want me to deal with him" Scarlett said not knowing its her own brother. No I got it under control , after few moments later we arrived at the bar.

We stepped out of the car and went inside the bar. Scarlett instantly started ordering drinks , after a few drinks later she took a few pictures of her and posted it on her Instagram account. 

We started dancing and few men approached us I declined then I was a little tired so I asked to Scarlett if she wanted to sit for a few minutes she said "You go, I m enjoying this right now"

As I went to the bar I saw Jacob sitting there looking at me. I went straight to him "What are you doing here" I said. He looked in other direction drinking something "I m looking out  for her" he said.

I stood in front of him trying to force him to look at me "I m taking care of her whether you like it or not and you have to trust me and stop following her, she has her own life and she is a fucking adult, just because of one thing she did that you didn't like does not give you a permission to treat her like a child " I said.

For a minute I thought he was going to shout at me for talking to him like that then he started to speak "Ok I m going to trust you for this time". I was shocked when he said that but then I was happy that I could convince him before Scarlett came to know about him following her.

"And for your information I was there near your flat to meet a friend and he planned to come to this club I m not always doing that I m not as bad as you think I m" Jacob said.

I was so much embarrassed that I didn't had words to say. After hearing that I nodded and starting to move away then suddenly I felt strong hands gripping mine, I turned around then I was Jacob was holding my hand.

"Stay till my friend comes " he said.  I didn't think staying there was a good idea because I know that I may secretly have a crush on him but as he is my best friends brother I didn't do anything about it. 

"Just because your friend is not here I m staying, don't get the wrong idea" I said. he nodded and we started to drink together and talked about Scarlett for a little.

After some time he asked "How are you ?". I was surprised "What are you talking about" I said. "I just asked how are you ? Are you ok ? can't I talk to you normally in a good way " he said.

"I m good , college is about to finish I m looking for job" I said. "Don't worry you will do good I believe in you" he said. I was not expecting this, I mean he really believe in me like that. "Well I will do whatever it takes to do so"

Then  we sat there keeping an eye on Scarlett and enjoyed our drink.
