Survive the night

Ashley's POV

I couldn't believe Jacob said all those things to me, he is unbelievable and I will never forgive him for whatever he said, if he thinks that I will let it pass he is delusional.

After I reached home I cried my heart out, I didn't think anyone could think of me like that. I never said anything like that to him never even once in my life, I know we used to mess around with each other but this was not acceptable.

He is fucking pathetic, he shouldn't have pulled that stunt. The situation could have been handled better, but he was in the mood to ruin my day.

Honestly, I even feel bad for Scarlett, she is stuck in the middle. I know he is a good brother but I don't think he should ever come into a relationship, he is so bad with emotions and what to say to a girl.

Whatever he is not even worth of my time which I m giving it to him by thing about him, he is not my problem to think for.

 After days passed I ignored him. I need to get over feeling and need to get ready for the occasion I need to look my best and show no emotions over there.

Scarlett came and we got dressed together at my house, she didn't even talked about it. That's the reason she is my best friend, she knows exactly what I need.

"Get ready fast we are going to be late" I said to Scarlett. "Why are you always in a hurry, the party won't end in 5 minutes" Scarlett said.

"Beauty takes time" Scarlett said. "I know I know, I have called a driver and he is here" I said.

After a few minutes she finally got ready and we went to the car "We need you to take us there as soon as possible" I said to the driver.

He drove the car as fast as he could and surprisingly we got there on time, if we hadn't arrived in time I would have killed Scarlett for being late.

As I entered the room I could see many potential models over there, they were all so pretty and cute that I didn't even know how I would survive the night.

I also saw many male models they were good-looking and fit. I know I had competition but this is something else.

"Are you here for the first time?" A man said, When I looked at him I was impressed he was tall handsome, fit, and even cared to talk to me everyone else was busy with themselves

"Yes," I said and started to observe everything again, "You just need to be yourself," the man said.

"What" I asked in confusion. "You don't have to observe everything and copy them," he said. He is reading my mind or why is he trying to calm me down

"I didn't even introduce myself, I'm Winston Grey". The name suited him so well, I think he is the definition of perfect.

"I'm Ashley Carter," I said admiring him. He kept staring at me ignoring my words. "Take a picture it will last for long" I said.

"Yes for sure, let me take a picture," Winston said. He took a phone out and clicked a picture of us together.

"You don't fear don't you," I said. He had a smirk on his face, let me introduce you to my agency.

There are many important personalities here and you should not keep standing here like a statue.

He gave me a sign to follow him, I grabbed Scarlett's hands and pulled her in the direction he was walking.

He stopped in front of one of the most well-known company's manager.

"How are you Jackson" Winston said casually placing his hands on Jackon's shoulder. "I'm fine, aren't you going to introduce me to these beautiful ladies " Jackson said while observing our every move.

It's like he is observing any sign of weakness of strength, he is a manager for a reason he can easily identify if I'm the right person for the job .

My whole career is going to depend on these few minutes that I talk to him, even if won't accept me it won't be the end of the world but his company is one of the best.

"What's your name gorgeous?" Jackson said. His eyes were solely focused on mine, "I'm Ashley Carter" I said.

"I'm Jackson manager of my company" he said. He then reached out to me to shake hands.

Jackson is an interesting man, he is well-dressed and knows how to make an long-lasting impression. He is tall and good one can surely misunderstand him for one of those models.

He is only focused on his work and is not one of those men who tries to take advantage of the situation.

We chatted for a while he told me about his company about all the new poisons his company can offer. He even told me about his upcoming project and also told me that he is looking for a model.

I'm surely going to apply for that post, I knew coming here was a good decision.

After a while a beautiful young lady approached Jackson and whispered some things to him, he listened to her then gave me a sweet smile and said " I have to meet some people, it was nice meeting you and I hope I will we will meet again soon"

When he went away I looked at Scarlett, by the look on her face I could tell she wants to get out of here as soon as possible.

"I hope your conversation with Jackson went well" Jacob said. He was right behind me. As I turned towards him I could see his handsome face, is this what perfection feels like?

I can see almost every woman in this room drooling over him and he is not giving a fuck about it his eyes are solely focused on mine.

"Thanks for introducing me to him, I owe you one" I said smiling to him.

"I believe we can make it even and I even have a plan for us, If you let me I'll tell you what plans I have made for us" he said with a grin on his face.

"What can I do for you" I said. I know this is not a good idea but I will see what he is trying to do. And whatever he is trying to do I'm enjoying it. And deep down I know he knows it.
