(Adeline) *sitting in Piers castle bed*
(Astrid) how are you doing?
(Adeline) it's been a lot to process over the last three days
(Astrid) I'm here if you need to talk
(Adeline) you said my mother was like a sister to you, how long did you know each other?
(Astrid) well it goes all the way back to when we were teenagers, Benedict was only a prince at the time of the Piers castle, he met your mother and I so I knew he saw love at first sight with her but so did Florence, Florence was a knight at the castle because of his father
(Adeline) when my mother was pregnant with me, you already had two sons before Florian
(Astrid) your mother turned down Benedict so he chose me, we welcomed two sons a year apart before we had Florian, at that time I was raising a three year old and a two year old, your mother joined as a knight of the castle because she had no other family and news got to me that she was pregnant with you as I was pregnant with Florian
(Adeline) were Florian and I close at the time?
(Astrid) his father took over most of the time trying to raise the boys to be the next prince's and kings, as he was jealous of your mother and father which is why seven years later we had a knights festival, their were games but we thought we were under attack when a smoke bomb went off I had to get Conrad, Jeremiah and florian out of there I couldn't go back for your mother
(Adeline) my father did though but he said he was too late
(Astrid) I got my boys inside and I went back for Natalia but when I got to her she was on the ground lifeless a stab wound to the chest and markings across her throat as if she had been strangled
(Adeline) *hugging astrid* my father said it was him it was Benedict that did it to her after he witnessed it
(Astrid) I went to the knights home to look for you and Florence, but he had already left with you, he got you out of there before Benedict could find you
(Adeline) that's why i was taken to Maryell's cottage with the other children, he hid that he was my father and told everyone he was a knight
(Astrid) I tried to look for you and Florence, but Benedict was strict on the boys till you showed up in the town ball with Zagerus. I knew you had a protector once Zagerus was there with you, those boys never saw eye to eye as young teenagers, but I needed Zagerus to protect you and keep you away from Florian and Benedict
(Adeline) he did that the best he could, he was in rage if Florian ever did anything
(Astrid) he was the same way when you were missing he nearly burned the castle to the ground once Percy and the Hercules boys got you out of there
(Adeline) I'm thankful for all of them
